plagron bat mix soil

c99 is in vortex init? is that bros grim? they used shiva skunk in that c99? i think. is it jack herer x shiva skunk? shiva skunk is a cannbis cup winner. they say its the best skunk. and itis nice with the right pheno. kind of makes sense why! they used shiva skunk

:peace:

all i can smell is garlic skunk. stinks of it. ya dont even have to move that vortex and it stinks. just sat there stinking of shiva skunk & garlic and sour worms. i got an 8 inch odor sok and the vortex is beating that. even the clones stink. i fill like im coverd init and i aint hardly been near it

the skunks in the batmix. they had some pretty bad burn when they first went into the batmix. none of the tga strains had burn when planted into the batmix,

i didnt mix the bags up. the skunks had the bottom half of the bag. might of been heavyer on the nut's, where i didnt mix it up first

looks like a couple of pheno's a few tall ones and a few small ones

and the southernlights 2nd generation are getting grown in biobizz light & allmix. my fault for not mixing the bags up before using. might tri that budswell liquid bat gauna

I use Plagron Batmix and it is not "time release", it lasts for 4 weeks and gives out the same amount of nutrients throughout the 4 week period. Time release is when the soil will give out certain nutrients to the plant at certain stages of growth. Plagron Batmix does not do this, the plant uses all of the nutes in the mix until it exhausts after 4 weeks (it says 6 weeks but in my experience and other growers 4) I use Plagron Batmix for my Vegetative stage then I switch over to 12/12 for a week then start feeding Bio-Bizz nutes. Ive just started a journal using Plagron Batmix.. https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/100147-violator-kush-organic.html

PS.. I get outstanding results using the Batmix for the Vegative stage, I love the stuff!!!

cool thanks. that explain why ive been having to feed with extra biobizz. cheers man. like tom said. better control with liquid ferts. it was stronger at the bottom of the bag. without a dout. allmix i liked and mayby liquid bat gauna.

the batmix makes the plants look real nice tho

I think medium release fertz are good especially ones that you need for flowering because they kick in and stabilize when you need them. Also the fertz will kick in upon watering because you are still in a growth cycle and that cycle is the clock not the one on the wall. There really are some fertz that you cannot do without at all. I really like earthworm castings and a little goes a very long way. I prefer guano as a tea because it is really powerful stuff.

cheers, the allmix comes with earthworm castings. think thats standerd for every allmix

will post some pic's of the jtr and querkle in plagron batmix at the weekend. and i'll run these next southernlights in biobizz lightmix & allmix. i did like the plagron soil aswell as the batmix but it needs to be mix right up before using. goes without saying realy.

i got a free gift from my friend at the hydro store with my soil lol. the pile next to my soil was my gift from him. so i'll be tring them out this time to. ive all ready tried out the house and gardan shouting powder. and i like it. he give me some indain incense and that is what the vortex smells like. smells of india

heres my ferts i use.

tom, 3 part line of AN  i cant use it very well on the nft tho man. soil i find it good tho. its to advanced for me on hydro. its gotts be clean and simple for nft. bigbud, carboload, b52, etc some are good on nft. ya gotta be onit tho for all the scorpain and pirahana ect on hydro. easy with soil tho, and you see it work. leafs swell right up.

hey tom, i was reading canna's version of the piranaha/tarantula well i think it is anyway. ive had probs ever since using the piranaha/tarantula and a few of the other higher end AN addi's. only on NFT and the AquaFarms. not with soil.

with the canna and the AN i think they say, Not to use Proxide hydrogen or what ever its called. i have a bottle :) which i havnt used but i have used C02 Tabs. not sure if that whould have had simular effect and messed up the voodoo, piranaha, tarantula, sorpain. or summin lol i spose the C02 tabs whould have simular efffet as the proxide. i only thout of it when i read the canna, coz both AN and canna just say proxide

the batmix seems to be blooming them up quite nicely, with the few extra feeds of biobizz grow, and also house & garden shooting powder for the last 2 weeks of feeding, then plain water for 1-2 weeks flush

jtr's are looking nice, this little pheno is not as potent as my tall pheno. and these were flipped to 12/12 small

the querkle smells real nice. different anything ive grow before. it gets more bulbus heads then the jtr and vortex. more indica, smells a treat

The reason you shouldn't use peroxide with stuff like Tarantula and Piranha is that it kills them. Those are beneficial microbes and peroxide kills pretty much anything microbial, good or bad.

I'm not sure that pumping up CO2 levels in your nutrient solution would be a good idea, it would probably promote the growth of the bad microbials. If it's to increase the CO2 levels for your plants I would think it's designed for the atmosphere, not the water. Do you have a link to the product?

Oh, and I thought of something else about what you said about AN guys looking like businessmen. Those guys are working really hard on legalization and stuff so they do this straight-laced appearance so the people who vote will take them seriously. Sometimes you've got to blend in to get things changed.

Hello from the UK , PLAGRON Batmix , i bought a bag from my local grow store, had to throw half the bag away, as it was full of wood bits and fluffy cotton wool type material . Wont be using that ever again.

I think that "Cotton wool type" you're referring to is a type of moss, I break those moss clumps with hands, I will also break those wooden bits if possible, else I'll leave them as they are (I believe those are in there to support beneficial microbes), I do not break bat guano though (hard 2cm-ish clumps).

I also add 10-20L of perlite (that I've washed thoroughly) and some mycos and mix it all thoroughly. I then saturate the medium and let it "cook" for a week or two (if two, then I will water again after 1 week has passed) as my understanding is that mycrobes require humid soil/medium to "live".

Also a note with perlite.

When I was adding perlite (from plagron) as well, without washing it, I had lockout issues and what not, sometimes cement on bottom of the fabric pot... So wash that shit, even though they claim it's washed and some special quality (it's horrible quality, but I can't get anything else here).

Also, from plagron I prefer Royal mix and All mix much more (batmix caused me some odd lockouts before so I am biased), I use same strategy for all of the plagron soils tho =)
