PK13/14 Questions

I'm using the canna pk13/14. It says that you are supposed to add it three weeks before harvest, but it also says use it for 3-6 day. I use a 60 litre tank, does this mean i should empty it to get rid of any excess PK13/14? I'm worried about wether it'll hrm my new plants as i thought it would be a good idea to use one tent/cupboard only for flowering and as the light cycle will then always be 12/12 I can have my babies 4 weeks apart as I never seem to grow enough to last me and my palls two months. Is this a stupid idea I should give up on?, as I can only have the one tank and it would mean dosing the ones that are one week into flowering with a bit of PK13/14. Due to space limitations i'm growing vertically in a cupboard so am only vegging for 3 weeks before turning over to the flowering cupboard.

Any good advice for a novice that's making things difficult for himself will be welcomed regardless of what it does to my ego. Ta.

Sorry this is a bit of late reply to your post, but hopefully it will help you or another.

Use PK three weeks prior to expected harvest. Fill your tank at the suggested ratio - ive not got the bottle to hand but its so many ml per 10ltr water I think. After 5-7 days using it, do a full water change.... This is whats suggested - I didnt do the water change and just kept topping up regularly as normal because I find it hard working with a wilma system when my plants are big. Anyway, thats about it. You only use it about a week and then continue as you had done.

If you are using a res like you do with a wilma drip system, you would (or i would at least) find it difficult keeping plants at different stages in their growth unless you had multiple systems. For example one of my plants is a week or so older than the rest, but im restricted by my system and so have to flush all the plants at the same time, when really I should be flushing that one before the rest.

Also to add to this, I added PK at the stage in life suggested, but keep in mind the seed breeder says 8 weeks flower is not always 8 weeks, could be 9 or 10, so make sure you know when YOU are going to harvest. I added PK on one hand when I should have ... so many weeks into flower before suggested harvest, but on other hand it was early because my grow is lasting a week or two more than expected or more than the breeder said it would take.

There is a period in the plants life where it needs the benefits of PK, im no expert in deciding when this is.... maybe someone else can help.... are there visible signs we should be looking for? Hope this helps anyway dude!
