I am getting ready to harvest 2 of my plants, they will be 8 full weeks of flowering wed, thrichs are about 40% clear to 60% cloudy few amber here and there, anyways about a week ago pistils started coming out and still more new ones keep appearing everyday, is that saying they are not ready yet, they are diffently coming out heavier then a week ago, the ones that came out first are turning red/brown in color but there is alot just starting to pop out, here is a few pics from yesterday you can see a few of the pistils out white and can't really see the ones just starting, just not sure if I should wait a little longer, thanks for any help

Harvest only according to trichome color or color combination that will give you the high or body stone or combination of each that you most prefer.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

That would be correct.

Some folks would harvest now.

Sometimes when they turn brown its a indication of the plant ripening.

thank you, just wasn't sure when they started coming out, it made me wonder if this was a stage of flowering that also showed ready

so what do you mean by ripening, it sounds like not meaning (ready to harvest), does it mean past ready, also calyxes are really swelling up, thank you for reply

Trichromes are the end-all and be all, pistil colour ratio is a property that really means nothing in its own right, but can be a half-ass decent indicator since that ratio varies similarily to trichrome ratio..

thanks to all replys, they did help me, we were 102 today and 105 tomorrow, then cool down, dry room is outside shed, probably be wise to at least wait for a little cooler weather
