As star dog has mentioned. You still have plenty of time left yet.
You need to wait until the sacks the hairs are growing out of are nice and swollen and it looks like the hairs are being engulfed by them.
You really want the hairs to be red/brown all over and resist touching them to smell them or you can damage the resin glands.
