Decided to drop by and share my piss test experience...I'm registered on a few other forums, but this one seems to be the most active.
Anyways, found I was going to be tested (pre employment scree) wayyy sooner than what I thought.
Not having enough time to clean out, I decided to go w/ QuickFix 5.7 formula.
Just for backup, I got some clean piss off my friend & triple bagged in zip lock.
Got to Lapcorp, checked the temp on both the real piss and the QuickFix. Both were running about 95-87 degrees, so I stashed my stuff and walked in.
Turns out there was a 1 hr wait, the place was packed. So about every 20 minutes I went out to my vehicle and checked the temp. The second time checking, I felt something wet----the piss in the bag had started leaking!
I looked like I pissed my pants, freaking nasty. So I got rid of the real stuff and crotched the QuickTest that was still reading in high 90's
Thought that was little too hot so I took off the heating pad.
Anyways, finally got into the bathroom and I removed the cap on the QuickFix. I noted the bottle was reading high temp, maybe over 100 degrees. So I dumped it in the container and left the container open on the urinal to cool off...
It probably sat there for 30 seconds unclosed then I closed the lid and walked back to the lab tech.
She split the sample and I signed some paperwork. As I finished signed I noted her doing what appeared to be a temp test on the urine that was not put in the vial and sealed up. Probably about 1-1.30 minutes between me dumping the Quickfix in the container and her testing the temp.
Got back my wallet and stuff and walked out.
My question is this --- aside from my pants being wet with piss
do you think I could have been hit on the temp being too hot? I think it may have dropped below 100 degrees by the time she tested the temp, but not sure.
Did the test yesterday before lunch and the lab said 24-48hrs until results. So I figured if I make it through today with no phone calls, I'm probably clear.
If the test was too hot, do you think she would have made me piss again or said something? Is too hot an auto fail or would I get retested?
Typical nerves, hopefully Monday rolls in and I'm all good.
