Pipe vs Bong

I made a thread about Joints vs Blunts and I decided to make it fair, because some people don't like rolling their bud up.

So for the people that don't like to roll up.
Do you better prefer the convenience of a pipe? Easy to pass, you can take it anywhere, and it collects a lot of resin over time, and can be bought at a much lower price. Or bongs? Easier interchangeable bowl that can be huge or small; hash or bud, filters out some of the smoke, bigger hits, more "showy" (some people will be happy to see it).

Which do you prefer?

matters on the situation but in ideal conditions (being at home): a bong.

on the go: pipe.

both glass is my preference. i dont like metal pipes or plastic bongs much at all.


i prefer both over joints and blunts just for the simple fact you can go from: desire to smoke weed to high most easily/efficiently with pipes/bongs over joints or blunts (no grinding buds...no rolling...no trips to the store if you're out of papers/wraps...etc)

i do smoke joints though pretty regularly (also good for on the go)

I prefer a gravity bong. I feel as though there is little to no weed being wasted by no one inhaling. I made a one hitter gravity bong and it works wonders. I'd prefer to repack 4 times and not waste any smoke than to roll a G and have 1/6 of it never reach my lungs.

If people aren't inhaling then why are they smoking?

Bongs are best because you gotta cough to get off.

I mean like in joints. During the passing or holding of breath

If at home - Bong all day
On the road - Its a joint... Easy to get rid of, glass pipe not so much

Oh I gotcha. I thought you were saying that in regards to hitting a normal bong. Yea that's why if I'm smoking a j or blunt with people it's always puff puff pass. Not puff, hold, exhale, puff, hold exhale, puff, pass. You hit that shit twice in succession and then pass that shit.

Walking around, and like going to a friends house are pipe occasions though. What if you don't bring you just bring bud, expecting them to have something, but their pipe or bong is broke? Or what if it breaks while your there? Gotta have a pipe sometimes.

Both of your cycles were wrong. MAYBE with like 10 people just puff-uff pass (that's what I'm calling two puffs with no exhale). The REAL way to do it (with just two or three people, you don't want to be passing the joint like a hot potato) Puff, quick hold, exhale, puff, long hold while pass, exhale.

pff, i just hold that puppy till im choking then pass it off. when i was younger that was bogarting but now that we are older its just how its done.

Bongs man. Iced down bong rips. If I can't transport my bong then i'll just do joints. I can have several joints ready to go, no more prep needed. I grow my own so I don't care about being wasteful. I throw joints that are 1/3 long away all the time.

I could use a month's worth of 1/3 joints. Bit low today. Tomorrow I get my paycheck tho, and my first grow is going good.

I love my bong 100%

Only time i blaze a joint or a blunt is if im not home

but bong all the way , i feel i get more out my bong then anything else , its all herb smoke and no paper smoke mixed in like with joints , and i get way bigger hits from my bong then i do a joint or blunt
