Day 42

Pollinated all but 1 of my indoor girls today

This plant is nice but not as resinous or as high yielding as some of the others
004.JPG 006.JPG

This plant has a great yield, vigorous as hell and has a good bit of resin coverage buuut.... its kinda greenish toward the top of the buds and thats not what im after for this line either
014.JPG
This is a low yielding twilight pheno, probably only get about 1/4 the weight of a high yielding pheno but these ones are always dense and extra crusty with trichomes so I place a high value on them (semi rare)023.JPG

And this is the Lone female from the F7 group im trying to maintain (full sibling to the male that pollinated these girls)
shes about a week behind everyone else but developing nicely028.JPG

This is my #1 selection, shes a very vigorous, high yielding, near black purple, ultra frosty female that will be producing F9 regular seeds as well as femenized pollen for my next round of dark plants and a photo cross.058.JPG 047.JPG 062.JPG 067.JPG 065.JPG

Ive done some preliminary smell tests (smell develops as it matures ) and thus far its heavy berry, followed by a light/smooth menthol/exotic spice and finally a dab of cheese on the end notes

Looking great in there :) Sucks about the males but sounds like you have it covered. I can see why #1 is the main selection, very nice plant :)

thanks man, Im 99% positive I will have locked down all of the traits of interest in this line after I pollinate the next batch of dark plants with this select mom. and then once I finish up my Light purple line... im pretty much ready to focus entirely on bringing up the yield per meter squared, THC% for the next few generations.

Okay so ill most likely be posting some updates later tonight after I snap pics , water and rearrange the girls but in the mean time, I eluded to a photo project earlier in the year and This is how im gunna do it.

I notice even this deep in the F7-F9 breeding nothing but fully autoflowering individuals I still get about 5% photo throwbacks in the F6 and F7 so Im going to save a few of these photo pinkies and work them into a pure photo pinkie line to use in crosses and such. I got 2 out of a few hundred F6 seeds and 1 showed sex, I sent her to my cousins to grow since he needed a plant to start out and I dont need the bud just a clone. the other more vigorous plant still hasnt shown sex but if its a male Ill cross them and if its a female ill cross them so... either way I need it lol. hopefully shes a girl tho

DAY 56
took some pics of the girls (except the 4 outdoor)
This is my select female (heavily pollinated)

she was selected for her vigor, yield, color and trichome coverage. I will run F9 seeds from her as well as use her to pollinate a few F7 and F8 females to produce fems

Many of you have probably noticed my absence these past months ( years)....

Welp.....Im back!!!! had a little run in with the law that forced me to take a bit of a hiatus and nearly cost me all of my years of work on Pinkie and Kaiju lines but I have successfully germinated seed from both strains.... albeit not from my last few generations. I was however able to pop seeds that I had kept in reserve from years ago that contain the same genetics (F4-5) and should be able to finish Pinkie within a year or 2 tops, so I can finally get her out to all my fellow auto growin bretheren!!!Snapchat-1225843417.jpg

as you can imagine cracking open 5 year old seeds creates a lot of issues... ones I have never experienced. So even tho I put down quite a few seeds and I saw them emerging.... most fizzled out early on.... at first I suspected fungus gnats but seedlings from fresh seeds that id grown along side were outpacing mine by far and had germination rates on 100-98% where my ancient stock was barely getting 1 out of 6 seedking to pop and actually grow ( most of them crack but stall out at the seedling stage and just die.

luckily I had hundreds of seeds and the lot that is most prolific is from 13 purple mothers with green leaves and 1 dad
so I should get good variation in this lot.
So far I have been able to get these 5 females to the beginning of flower
2 are already showing purple
1 is indica dominant in veg structure (A pheno)
and 1 is Sati Dom in veg all day (B pheno)

the 1 male I have is so far just green but extremely vigorous and has a small female growing in his pot. I would prefer to have a purple male but he may color up late as many pinkies do and he has all the other traits im after aside from color so he will still make an excellent breeder, especially because I know for a fact he is a purple carrier. hes under 6 hours of light a day and is doing very well

I will continue to post updates as they come. any questions i will be glad to answer. :D

number 4 is intersex. DESTROYED
shame because it was purple from the first calyx and frosty but meh cant get around that fatal flaw

I am now down to 4 females (1 runt) and an extra girl in my males pot so 5 females total. 2 look purple so far but the others might just color up later.
and 1 male. he is very vigorous but green as hell which im not wild about. given that hes the only one I have tho I cant afford to be picky and will just have to do an extra large selection on the next generation before pushing forward. having said that im actually pretty happy that I am getting all the expressions Pinkie has to offer from this population. short...tall.....indica dom.... sativa dom.... purple.... green im taking it as an oppurtunity to redo the last 3 generations and try to avoid any pitfalls or mistakes I may have made on my first run.

heres the male ive taken to calling romanescoSnapchat-515137664.jpgSnapchat-1455223251.jpg
ive been removing flowers from him for a few days so he doesnt drop pollen. he only gets about 6 hours of light a day

UPDATE

Pollinated all my girls today with Romanescos pollen.
I used a Qtip with a fluffed tip and then went thru with a cluster of flowers pinched at the base by a pair of tweezers and pixie dusted just to be safe. I tried to pollinate everything except the main cola but im sure i got some on those too cuzz when I was done I blew the rest onto them hahahhaa, I have to ensure that ive got lots of seeds for this next generation.

ill probably come thru 1 more time in a few days and dust again then let them finish

theyve just about stopped stretching so im gunna untie them soon and see about getting them some real nutes.... not gunna lie im broke as shit rn and all ive given them is compost tea and piss hahahaha so yeah bout time to up the P and he K

I have a bunch of pics that I will post but they exceed the size limit so I have to resize them all and... im not doin that rn

1 of these is going to be solid purple. 1 is going to be light purple. I think 1 is going to be green and I cant tell what the other will be.

those are my guesses sometime they get lightewr or darker as they develop so we shall see
