Just saw Gilmour a couple of weeks ago, still rocking it, guitarists get better with age, singers not so much. I can never really pick a fave, the wall was not my favourite album but what can you say about a song like comfortably numb? Turned my son onto to them when he was 18, smoked a dube on his birthday and threw on several species of small fury animals gathered together in a cave and grooving with a pict, at about 5:00 am when the birds and animals were just starting to wake up and we'd been up all night, it was like the birds were singing in synch with the song. He "got' Floyd that day and has listened to them since.

I hear Brit Floyd is outstanding, my buddy n his wife are huge Floyd fans and have seen many cover bands n they swear that Brit Floyd is by far the greatest.
I saw Brit Floyd and they sound exactly like the Pink Floyd records live. They played way too much stuff from The Wall but we did get a few from Meddle which was cool.

Listening to Meddle spun is amazing, as is Dark Side and the Syd Barret stuff.

I remember listening to Animals alone on lsd and man, that is a dark album

I saw Pink Floyd In Docklands (london) in about 88/9.Must have been one of the last Gigs.
Animals is the best Album IMO......

Also had lunch with Jimmy Page.Thats was in 81 I think.
I think Led Zep may be the 2nd best selling band ever. After the Beatles.
