anyone else stoked as shit for Pineapple Express?

If you don't know what it about you might wanna check it out, pineapple express is the basis of their story, strain of marijuana.

I didnt find out it was anything related to pot until I heard about their billboard outside of the premier that produces smoke.
 
Yeah, when I heard the film title I thought it was about the weather system. :rolleyes: :lol: I would love to see it, and also I want to see this: WATCHMEN MOVIE 8)

I actually was about to start my own pineapple express thread, but was too lazy to search if anyone else had started one.

I am really fucking excited for this movie yo!! I'm going back to my home town to see it. it'll be way rad to smoke out with old friends again. /homesick

i saw this movie last night at a premier, fucking hilarious! you guys will laugh when you find out what the name means.
 
saw it tonight and it was great. i almost got a boner when i saw the huge growing setup they had in the movie. wow!
 
it was funny as fuck......too bad the grow setup looked a little too fake i think they could have done a better job on the leaves of the plants cuz they didnt look like marijuana and all im just sayin they could have done a better job with that oh and then when dale buys a quarter of the pineapple express saul gives dale like a sack with a .5 nug wtf is that? they could done a better job but anyways it was still a bomb ass movie tho i was suprised too hear all those different strains.:leaf::leaf:bongsmilie:weed::blsmoke:
 
I thought it was darn good (just saw it for the second time) the first time I had a brownie and smoked like fuck before hand. I was too baked to understand what was happening. definitely better more sober though. not the greatest movie, but definitely worth seeing at least once.

I've seen the trailers and reckon 'Pineapple Express' will be a blend of 'Nice Dreams', 'Pulp Fiction', 'Jay and Silent Bob' and possibly a little 'He Died With A Falafel In His Hand'.

I'll wait for the DVD or torrent because I won't pay nearly $20 AUD to watch a movie no matter how good it is supposed to be.

The action was incredible and very well done, I think alot of people are missing the point of how relatable these characters are to our generation of pot users.

I swear to god the character of Dale Denton was written about me.

I *love* a good stoner movie. I'll definitely be watching Pineapple Express when its on DVD. Personally, trying to critique a stoner based movie is a bit pointless. They're supposed to be a bit of mindless fun. Some of my favourites include:

Up in Smoke
Nice Dreams
Next Movie
Dude, Where's My Car
Most of Jay and Silent Bobs stuff
He Died With a Felafel...
Bill and Teds Big and Bogus Adventures

Have you seen the episode of 'Roseanne' when Her and Dan and Jackie find an old stash and get stoned in the bathroom? Funny as fuck.... :grin: the episode was called 'A Stash From The Past'.


If we want a serious movie about cannabis, we should create a 'Philadelphia' type dramatization about Cathy Jordan who has ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and has to break the law to use the medicine that keeps her alive. That's what movie makers should look into.
 
The best pot movie I've seen, better than Dazed and Confused, the cheech and Chong movies and beyond... The action was violent and funny as heck....

I just bought a brand new bong and a quarter of kush. I'm going to go break in this bong and see pineapple express today =D
