Watered her in DEEP.. my damn drip tray in the tent flooded. dont got a big ass drip pan for this 15gal pot need to be careful though cause my timer is on the floor. luckily it poured out on the other side away from the outlet need to get that fixed though.

just gave water about 2gals. tent has a shit load of activity going on. lots of fruit flies looks like from the damn vermicompost/old soil with the food scraps half ass composted. found 1 leaf getting attacked got some black dots on it as well as these 2 weird bugs that were kinda big enough to see with my eye they looked flat and white. looked like mealy bugs imo but hard to classify. checked rest of the plant and didnt find anything else.

will be removing the other 3 plants later on this weekend possibly setting up my scrog and spraying my plant down just in case.

EDIT- looked at pic saw something black under the leaf close up checked it and saw nothing so no idea what that is. could be the soil as i did kind of LST free hand just by spreading them apart so they touched the surface of the wet soil. sprouts in the pic are from seeds from the half assed compost nothing im worried about

removed all of my dads plants as you can see. they were literally getting too tall and hitting the lights causing tacoing to occur due to light intensity/heat. they were too tall to begin with anyways to remain due to them in veg state i only have about 12inches or less to play with height wise on the lights at this height.

plant is doing okay idk how much it has grown since i last updated i don't check daily usually when i am off or when i know i need to water but since this is in a 15gal and i water deeply after it is semi dried out then i water that is about once a week. maybe now with all the plants gone RH should drop, air flow should increase thus it should dry out faster.

scrog net is set up as you can see idk if it is "set" or i will have to adjust tightness because the hooks are too loose for my tent they stay in place once you stretch the net out but thats about it. they literally can easily move and i assume it will move once the foliage starts pushing the net upwards. i thought i had zip ties on hand from my computer parts but i only got 1 so if anything i will just tie it down with garden wire to tighten it up. i will also need to cut a hole in the squares where the fan is at because the fan cannot oscilate. i either need to cut a whole or raise the sides nearest the door a little up to accomidate the fan. if i do that though then i will have less height to work with for my lighting during flowering. i honestly don't think it will be a huge deal.

Right now i am just getting some height on the plant to start weaving in the branches. i will be lollipoping anyways below the net and i figured i might as well get some height over surface area to get as much veg time out of this grow as i can to fill out the pot with roots. at this rate i think she will be ready to weave possibly by mid next week or towards the ending for sure. she was doing very well before i topped her plus transplanting and all that so kind of set me back a little bit from the stress.

next watering will be a feed will likely do a full feed on her. will be adding voodoo juice for safety measures on this pot full dosage, silicone full dosage, and start with the carbs early. carb wise i use basically the same thing. Carboload by AN and during flowering i swap to budcandy they are practically the same if i recall the only difference is i think they got rid of carboload in there schedules and promoting it over budcandy so i assume budcandy is slightly better and they don't state you can use budcandy in veg but with carboload you can.

don't remember what net this is supposed to fit a 4x4 easily but it looks too tight when pulled unless i got it the wrong way but it's supposed to be a 9x9 anyways. i likely will just be filling out the square and then continue to weave out the edges during flowering idk yet. not super worried with an even canopy for learning purposes as long as it's mostly even im okay with that.

watered with 2ml over full dosage mixed with 1gal. then added i believe 5L of reg water. pot started to leak so i think it will only take about 1gal leakage wasn't to bad but im getting tired of cleaning up the over spill.

growing the plant normally for now to gain some height but looks like it's focusing more on getting bushy versus height. it has idk i'd say at least about a foot of height to go to hit the net. overall it's doing okay tbh growing fairly too slow for my liking but then again thats cause i topped it, did some LST, transplanted it, etc.. so the stress is just setting it back some. not to mention the very light defoliation i did

EDIT- pruned/lollipopped bottom foliage that was getting little to no light. removed at least 20-30 leaves total big and small leaves wouldn't have amounted to anything in the end anyways. likely plant will be majorly stressed out so not expecting any newer growth until mid/late next week. won't be trimming again until plant hits the net

Looking good. So this is day 33?
Yea day 33 from seed. i mean it's not bad for 33 days imo given i transplanted twice, topped once, LST'd a little bit im sure caused stressed, and light pruning. stem should start getting thicker soon now that it's at a height where the fan is actually hitting it. im not expecting it to hit the net until next weekend at least but with the amount of room and depending how fast it grow taller then yea 1-2 more weeks until then for sure. it's just been getting bushier though. it could actually use another trim tbh but i don't want to stress it out any further right now because i just want to veg it to get height.

i feed once a week only full dosage and i try to leave the doors open as much as i can to combat heat

3 days since i pruned her stem has gotten fatter not sure from the pruning or the silicone alone. branches also got fatter and stiffened up. she needs to be watered possibly by tomorrow afternoon. fan is kind of fucking her up in one corner cause that side gets the most wind even when it oscilates. doesn't really bother me though and some leaves got some weird white dots on um could be more bug related issues but could also just be from other stuff idk yet. it's not too bad so im not worried atm.

she got a good 5-6 inches more before she hits the net likely will be by saturday/sunday. she might be getting too much nitrogen or nutrient related issues/ph issues hard to tell tbh. leaves look okay but they are dark green and slightly lighter green on the inside. you wouldn't even notice but since im starring at her i notice it.

overall she is doing fine. if i wanted to i could drop the net down already but i kind of want to try veg her out a little longer build more roots for this size pot and try and experiment with stem thickness as well. once she hits the net though it won't be long until i flip

EDIT- watering her today don't want to deal with it tomorrow and idk if she will last tomorrow without showing signs of under watering. will only be giving 1gal. she can't even take more then 1gal imo.

Stalk seems to be getting bigger im not too sure if im looking too much into that. this is the size it usually gets on my grows before i chop so if i can get anything bigger then this i will be pleased. end goal for this grow would be double what it is now.

she is starting to Pre sex seen it yesterday. took a pic of the space she needs to get to hit the net if anyone was curious i don't know where my tape measure is but it looks to be around 5-8inches. She is starting to get dry faster as well today is only day 2 since i watered and she needs to be watered. i am testing something out that i read before/seen in a lot of videos of how people will intentionally dry out there soil to cause the roots to branch out. usually at this stage i water not too dry, not super wet. my root system is alright but i think it could be better.

Open to suggestions/criticism as always. Only thing i should really do differently if i could is run a damn AC to drop my temps that is my biggest issue right now and running a dehumidifier in flowering. i do try to keep my grow as basic as i can due to costs for the most part but in a sense it does help me learn more about how to work around those issues with what i got to work with. temps might start to drop by the time she is in flower i doubt it but we will see.

Next watering idk what i will be doing. kind of in the middle of pumping more silicone into her or giving her another break and just doing water. i will probably just go regular water and feed more silicone during the next feeding. right now im sitting at a 3 day watering schedule it seems.

She is stretching to the net!. just a wee bit more i say about 5 inches to go by monday i should be ready would be a miracle if it hits by sunday morning. Watering tomorrow morning. What i thought was pistils now look like just regular growth because they are getting bigger starting to look like inner nodes imo. the joints at the inner nodes at the bottoms are getting FAT big ass knuckles likely from the pruning. well big af to me that is but to you guys likely aint shit.

i try to exhaust the tent out by opening the doors wide open every chance i get just because of heat issues. honestly it helps by 1-2F nothing major but it's free temp drops so fuck it.

nothing new otherwise imo. if i can manage to keep up with the daily updates you can see the difference. pics are not always at the same angles/distance i just use my phone nothing fancy.

i do NOT manipulate the photo's in any way meaning i don't tuck my leaves under to make other areas look bigger i don't even touch my plants that much besides when i water and that is just to check for issues like bugs or pruning which i haven't done since i first pruned. i try to keep everything natural as possible for viewers

EDIT- switching things up for tonight. turned the fan on high instead of medium to try and see what will happen to my stem/branches. going to weaken it back to medium tomorrow since i got to water but if it turns out good later on i might start doing this once a week

The stems look great man.
Very healthy looking leaves. You are doing great!
thanks this is my best grow thus far. just wish my fan wasn't fucking over that 1 side then it would look nice but im likely just going to prune it anyways. im tryna get that stem fatter though but i've been pumping in that silicone for a while now so idk if it's too much or i can keep going. you got any advice to get this shit fat?

so far i've just been doing the silicone + fan movement + pruning ( i read pruning stresses the plant but also causes the branches to thicken up so i was testing that ).

I would turn the fan off. The wind makes your stems stronger, you don't want that if you are going to scrog. You want tall and lanky. Then you can weave it into the net, turn the fans on and intensify the light. Then it will bush out in a flat canopy. Once your screen is nearly full flip the light. The screen should fill up at about the same time as the plant goes to bud.

I really don't have any tricks for fat buds other than providing a good environment for them. That is a Pandora's Box I don't feel like opening right now, lol.

im just trying to get fat stalks. i figured you wanted it fat cause everyone scrog i see that shit is beast. the tops are still flexible/flimsy it's the lower growth that is stiffer. can't turn the fan off due to major heat issues. exhaust alone don't help much. will be interesting to see what happens i guess cause this fan is placed under the net due to it's height. almost time to weave though so kinda late now i suppose.

The fat stalks just kind of happen after you top usually. The stalks really don't matter, imo. The net is supporting the weight, the stem is just the straw. The straw size will be the right size for the plant. Big plant, big stem.

I always run a fan under my scrog, sometimes two. Because the leaves are really laying on top of each other, humidity at the canopy stays high. High enough for water to form between two leaves, then the light goes through that water and burns your plant there. The plant also couldn't breathe in that spot. Then it dries out, looks like a deficiency and you chase your tail for a problem in your nutes that wasn't there.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack your thread. I can go on and on.

im just trying to get um fat to like learn not specifically for anything else really im trying to learn more basic shit like how people can get there stalks so damn fat compared to me especially on indoor grows. over time they get this size but i've seen people get um fatter before they even flip. not a huge issue though for me i think it's mostly just time + stress induced since those people do tend to actually bend there plants prior to weaving.

Yea i was planning to do that but since the plant is so short right now i figured hit it on the plant since i got my lights blasting to cool it off. seems to work okay but with that overall it looks like the plant is more focused on growing bushy versus growing taller so i just switched it up and pointed the fan up. think cause it is stressed out from the constant breeze so it's been focusing more on growing stronger by thickening up the stems. not too worried about it though cause it's in a 15gal pot trying to stall it as much as i can just simply to see what the roots will look like overall.

Scrog grow is fucked as you can see i had to put my dads plants back in the tent. the lights cannot move up any further so i will be flipping. Honestly at this point idc about the pineapple chunk in the sense because 1. i only got 1 seed and i've never grown that strain before 2. it was a freebie seed 3. i don't smoke much buds as i used to 4. beats getting slammed in jail for growing ( his plants are TALL.. ) the tallest he has ever grown.

will be swapping lights to 12/12 probably starting at 7pm-7am just to keep it as cool as i can. temps here don't drop until later in the evening but they quickly start to pick up after 7am so those are the coolest hours i could get due to it being summer sunlight still at around 630pm as well.

a bit disappointed since i wanted to at least test out a scrog but honestly i have 2 more seeds left i can test it on. one is a CBD strain the other is a reg seed that my dad crossed with my blue widows from a previous grow. i think the 3 in the tent is the same variety as well thus either way we learning something and they could all be males so really aint a huge deal.

EDIT- His plants strain is Blue Widow x Mango i believe. Blue Widow bought from GYO ( their brand NOT the DinaFem ones. ) Mango cream i don't know where he bought it from.

his plants should be on a continuous 12/12 while my Pineapple Chunk should start tomorrow due to my light schedule messing up today.

Your dad's plants are about exactly how you want them to look when you start the scrog!
yea but i figure look at his plants then look at how tall mine is big issue right? what you think? i figured even if i dropped the net super low so i can scrog all of um that they would fill up majority of the net. so at this point i'd have to flip immediately.

the bigger issue though is his stems are thickened up already i'd have to snap um just to bend um. let me know what you suggest though i mean i already told him about the scrog he said he is okay with it im just tryna get a good grow out of this even with his plants. so i am open to suggestions

I would either manage to get all of that in a screen somehow and flip, or top his plants to the height you want them (looks like about 1 foot or so from the pic) and flip. Neither option is really a direct answer, but I would do something like that.

Yea i am thinking how i'd manage to actually get all this under the net with the fan inside as well but the more i think about it even if i super crop them the harder it would be to weave just because of all the growth. might as well chop um cause he already chopped one of the 3 plants a good bit. gonna try even it out and slap the net on and continue to veg. Im just going to chop off enough to start weaving though and let my plant slowly grow into it this weekend while the other 3 chill out from the major stress. seems like my best option though cause of the major light distance.
