Also, thanks for the response gus! I feel some savvy breeder will see the market for the christmas tree and try to fill the gap and try to render services we need...anyone know about texada pinewarp? Have a feeling these strains may have a hidden trait..rumor has it the xmas tree came from breeders off the coast of b.c. on an island..don't know if its true or not,but same story exist through a few different loops of friends I know.

I remember the pine buds from years ago...

Just the other day I picked up some meds from a dude I know, and they were straight up Christmas tree.

The strain was "Night Queen" by Dutch passion.

I was really impressed and surprised (everything I have read says DP sucks)

Brought back such good memories just smelling that again.

It was like Christmas with a subtle hint of grapefruit.

^nope, pinesol is definitely not what we are referring to.

I have heard it was a BC strain and it very well could be. In the late 70's-late 80's it would flood pretty much the entire country at Christmas time (from end of November to first of February) then it would disappear. Light green, pretty red hairs, with nothing but a Christmas tree smell. Not sort of like a Christmas tree, or reminds you of a Christmas tree, absolutely 100% douglas fir pine.

I would be willing to say it isn't any better than anything we grow now. At the time it stuck out head and shoulders better than everything except for the true (actually smelling like a dead skunk) skunk. The buzzes were different. Skunk was the typical skunk buzz and Christmas Tree was a very very trippy strain. It was like turning the sharpness up to 100 on your HDTV.

We used to have that around here as well. I'm pretty sure it's still up here but it's a bitch to track down a cut.

Well said sir, very well said..... You are one of a very few who can describe and explain this strain to it's true description. And BTW it was better than a lot of the top strains today. I say this because I have NEVER seen it in modern times and we all still search for it......

Man I remember EXACTLY christmas tree weed...We had that in NC foothills back in the last 80's early 90's..Seems the last I saw it too...Yeah, pinesol?..lmao..thats a joke...Nope, just 110% fresh cut Douglas fir..Very light green too ...This is what has kept me toking over the years...looking for that same kind...Once you had it..You can never mistake it...I once researched that it may have been northern California outdoor orange bud that harvest time fell in December, (or close to Christmas) plus with the smell, everyone just called it Christmas tree..Seemed the closest to what I had...3000 miles away though..lol... But more than once...All I remember for 4-5 years straight

With current seeds......my best suggestion is Romulan.....super pine!
Also mk ultra and soma diesel are vert pine oriented!
Over here on the Big Island we have pine in clone form....original pine still going after many years!!!!
Good luck!

It's clone only, the Yoda OG. I don't see a difference between Pine and a Christmas tree. A Christmas tree is a pine or Fir and it smells the same to me.

Friend has family there and brings it back with him! He can get clones for himself but won't give/sell me any.
Around begin Dec. is when he brings the fresh dried outdoor and we trim it more and jar it up for a couple weeks before Christmas.
We make some hash w/ the sugar trim(grower doesn't trim except bang leaves)

Past couple years he been getting outdoor in Winter but I buy his Indoor CTree between harvests.
Most people buying weed today wouldn't think it has great bag appeal because its not rock hard but the smells/flavors are dead on Pine and nothing else.

The High is very cerebral/uplifting/energizing and lasts around 2 hrs. It's not like the over the top potent strains of this decade but also can't be replicated from what I've encountered.

Nightmare, pinesol and freshcut pine is a tottaly different spectrum..pinesol is chemmy and burns the senses..freshcut pine is what I'm talking about..cut down a pinetree, hack it up and at the end of the job, smell your hands..that's what I'm looking for..christmas tree.

Got MK Ultra going now at about 6 weeks flower... Did 2 regular seeds... got both to be females...2 different phenos..very close, but just a hair different... One I liked enuff to clone...So have one clone a couple weeks old...She may be the keeper for generations to come!!...

With current seeds......my best suggestion is Romulan.....super pine!
