I don't know if you know this but from what I have read you should only have one plant per pot. you also you might want to get more lights in there daylight bulbs or cool white around 6500k spec. for the veg. and have them about 2-3" from the top of the plant (watch them).
hope this helps

Oh my fucking god!! Here we go again. Dude be prepared to be shit upon like no other for having more than one per pot. DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM!!!! Check out https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/30622-my-little-babies-27.html and you will see that more than one per pot isnt bad. DO NOT LISTEN !!!!!! Dont get discouraged dude cause you are going to get shit from ever possible directions, just dont listen. Do you and everything will be good. People absolutely hate it when you try something different and it works...amazingly well at that. Good luck bro. Its going to be tough listening to all the negativity but you just gotta ignore it man. If you need any advice on growing more than one per pot you can PM me if you want. I seem to be the multiple plant per pot guru :) hahah. All you have to do is cut the males and the ones you dont want below the soil with a pair of scissors and everything will be fine. Just dont try to dig up the ones you are getting rid of, just cut them out and you will be golden. Hit me up if you need any help or advice dude!!

thanks for the replies. Yeah, i started them all in a rubbermaid, i'll probably seperate them later on.

Can anyone tell the sexes from those pics?
Unsure. I cant do it myself.

Well they look healthy, but you will not be able to see the sex for 4-8 weeks (4 if your realllly lucky, one of my plants is 11 weeks old that is barely starting to show, and its a darn male). Oh yea, you wont be able to separate them later, the roots will be TOTALLY tangled.

Good luck, keep us posted, 1 plant per pot....

lol. the roots wont be tangled this early. he wasnt kidding, everyones just replying to say "one plant per pot". however, its not a pot, its a gigantic rubbermaid. Im just letting em go naturally. its just for fun.

Its true that it isnt THAT bad to have more than one in a pot but look at urs. U have like 20 in such a small space. How will they even have room to grow without being crushed by eachother? I can see a couple in the rubbermaid that arent even an inch apart. where are they going to grow?

You wont be able to seperate them later, they are right. You could seperate them now though. As for sexing those things its way way way!!! to early. You wont know for AT LEAST a few more weeks when it shows preflowers and even then it can be hard for a beginner. You will probably have to wait until you switch over to 12/12 to tell. With mine i didnt have to worry about moving them and roots tangling cause i never ever intended on seperating them. I was growing them as is and only planned getting rid of the males and the smaller ones and my god is it working. Good luck with yours. If you want to seperate them do it now, if you want to let them grow like that and remove the males then let them babies grow. However yours are a little on the close side but i still think it will work. I hope so anyways.

i get that. no one really reads my posts, just looks at the photos. i just started seeds off in the rubbermaid, i am going to seperate them. its not too late to do that. i was just posting to show how the little plants were doing, and theyre doing well.

If you just wanted to show off then why ask:

"What ya think? Can anyone tell me about my plants?"

You got EXACTLY what you asked for.

As for it not being to late to seperate them NOW, you specifically said you planned to seperate them "later on" so no one was being rude or innacurate in their explanation. While F4t4lshot has had success with more than one in a pot, most people post negative experiences. For instance, you're only going to know you're waterings are 100% accurate and consistent across the board if they're in their own pot, if you're pouring 2 plants waterings into the same pot, what guarantee do you have that each plant is getting what it needs, you could easily have one taking too much then try and compensate to help the other one only to make the others problem worse.

I did read the post and then I read most of f4t post, the point everyone is making is why have multiple plants in one point when you can just put one plant in one pot. yes I know that you are using a rubermaid tote.

what are the pros vs cons on using only one pot and multiple plants?

The pros...
By putting more than one in a pot you can have more plants in the same space allowing you to pick and choose the best ones to keep through the whole grow. I have twice as many if not more to choose from as people with the same size room as mine. Its working beautifully for me, i cant say it will work for everyone though. The roots are not going to be down there tangling and choking each other. Thats not how it works. If that was the case then every plant would do the same and you wouldnt be able to put alot of flowers in a flower pot or in a window planter. I mean think about it. Go to any nursery and you will see many many flowers in the same pot or basket thriving. The roots take what they need and no more, nature is a wonderful thing that way. The only thing i can say is maybe just maybe add a little extra nutes to make up for feeding a few instead of one. Say you add 1Tbsp to a gal for one plant add 2Tbsp for multiple plants. You are not going to over fert cause they will use what they need between them. Especially in soil with organic ferts, its almost impossible to overfert. I know, im doing an experiment at home where im watering just a little then adding nutes straight from the bottle that havent been diluted AT ALL and this thing is going crazy. The minute i see the very very tips turning brown (this is called greenhouse burn and is a good thing cause its the plants way of saying i got all i need so you can back off a little) ill back off a little. Check most pics of plants in high times or cannabis culture or any website and you will notice alot of big, healthy, beautiful plants will have the tips just a little bit brown. I mean the very very tip.

The cons...
I dont know if you can call it a con or not but by having them like this once they reach a certain size you cant seperate them. Thats not really a con cause if you do it this way you probably arent going to seperate them anyways. You are probably going to get rid of the males as soon as they show and get rid of the smaller ones you do not like.

And ladykas im on your side here. If you want to seperate its not to late now but do it soon. If you want to just leave them like that that would be fine too. All you do is cut out the males and the ones you dotn want with a pair of scissors below the soil and they wont come back. Im really not encouraging growing like this though. It might not work for everyone as well as it has for me. With one in a pot you can almost guarantee success but you got to try to find out right?

And the thing about watering 2 or more plants in one pot and one taking all the nutes and the others not getting any is like this....

You know if you are prescribed medicine and the doctor tells you to split a pill? How do you know that all of the medicine isnt in one half and not the other? Cause thats just how it works, its spread through the whole pill. Same concept with watering. The plants will split what they need.

Im not advising to do this at all but it worked for me. All of the plants are the same height and for the most part the same over all size.

lol... f4tal u crack me up.

i think every post you type is defending yourself. why do you see it so neccesary to prove yourself in every post that is on this board? to tell you the truth... im tired of seeing your name in every thread that i read..... seriously.

Thanks squigggs i appreciate that. Im glad i can make you laugh and mad all in the same sentence. I have powers like that :) You are a very kind and caring person. Thank you for posting! Oh, and not one time in that did i defend myself. I answered his question. He asked pros and cons and what did i do? I answered truthfully and nice. I also suggested that not everyone should try this cause in most cases it wont work. In my case it worked well. But thank you for taking the time to put someone down and try to bring yourself up by making others feel bad. I appreciate your opinion and i support your right too your opinions. Watch and see if i give you the satisifaction of stooping to your level and continuing this cause im 100,000,000,000,000 percent sure you will reply and try to "defend yourself". Lets see if you can NOT post and "defend yourself" as you call it. Think you can do it? I have however made post helping people and telling them what I PERSONALLY did and how it WORKED, but i wouldnt tell OTHERS to do it. Absolutely nothing wrong with that at all. Later man, i hope one day you will learn this is a internet forum and you take stuff way to seriously. If you are tired of reading my post, the minute you see my name just scroll past it. Why take time out of your day to try and make someone feel bad? That boggles my mind. You will not see one more post from me defending myself, i stopped that days ago. I havent made any more post "defending myself" as you call it. I got a stop watch running right now as we speak. I want to see how long it takes for you to reply and "defend yourself" cause its obviously ok for you to "defend yourself" but not others. Time starts....now at 10:38 on my clock.....GO!!

eah, everyone got a little off topic. I am tired of people replying with their big ego's just to put other people down as if they are high and mighty, as well. Honestly, i have another post floating around rollitup somewhere, saying i'll update everyone on my "tons of seeds" in a rubbermaid experiment.

So..Yeah, Im happy with how its going, I'm sorry youve got an issue.

Ladykas are you talking to me? I hope not cause ive been backing you up from the beginning. I was the ONLY one that said what you are doing is a good idea and offered helpful hints. I think they look great and i think you are going to have some awesome plants. And im with you 100 percent about people putting other people down constantly. It does get kinda old. But we just have to deal with it huh? Dont worry about what other say Ladykas, you know they are doing good and thats all that matters.

Hey F4t,
This is your statement-

You know if you are prescribed medicine and the doctor tells you to split a pill? How do you know that all of the medicine isnt in one half and not the other? Cause thats just how it works, its spread through the whole pill. Same concept with watering. The plants will split what they need.

I'm sorry to tell you but that is not why it works that way, first off the multi billion dollar corp. spends a redicules amount of money to with R&D. This allows them to find the right amounts of chemicals that will be needed to achive that medication or what ever they are tring to make.
And for the second part of your statement that the plants will split what they need that is totally wrong, plants search for the nuts and thrive on finding what they need. They will take as much as they need to survive. They do not care if the plant next to them has enough water/nuts or what ever.

We have to remember this is wild nature and it will alway be the survival of the fittest.

Come on dude, you just confirmed what i said. Plants search for the nutes and thrive on fining WHAT THEY NEED. THEY WILL TAKE AS MUCH AS THEY NEED TO SURVIVE. Not take all the need and more causing the others to not get any. As for the "first part of my statement" what i said is right. Its the same concept, its spread out through the pill same as water is spread out through the soil. The plants will take all they need to survive as you said and nothing else. So yes you are correct.
