what do you mean, Rushbuds? i need to "Top" my plants? you mean cut the tops off? but they are starting to look cool! almost like a flower bud or something at the top, theres a lot of activity going on there lol.
and as for you, my friend bg...im thinkin the back ones are male too. do you think its dangerous to use pvc pipe as an extender on the neck of the ag? im not sure what else to do. i have the light completely on a separate timer than the reservoir.

Just to set the record straight, everything I am talking about is completely fictional. I am not growing anything illegal, and its all a made up idea in my head because I have no life and try to imagine things that could possibly make me feel better about myself. Although I am enjoying the conversation, please don't take me seriously. Like I said, I am a little off my rocker and this is all made up stuff that I post.:fire:

I Got An US aerogarden but im using it with a stepdown transformer in the UK the transformer Works a treat but ive now blown my bulbs, So The Big question is what if i was to buy UK Version bulbs and put them into the US aerogarden then use my ps2 power cord to supply the right voltage for the bulbs i really dont want to blow any more builbs , or waste any more money so tell me if im wrong, Advice would be Very Welcome

i got my cord from radioshack. it looks like the ps2 power cord but its not. it works just great so i can set the timer on 12/12. just ask for the one with one end 3 prong and the other end is 2 rounds.

fist do not top ur plants they will not bush out like u want and it will slow shit down 2 a crawl sex them then put the 42w cfls on the fems ,:peace:420 if u used 42w cfls from start they force the plant to side branch without clipping idont use fox farm ,flora nova forces plants to side branch every set of leaves grows new set of branchs from the very start no clipping ever and monster bushs :peace:flora nova is steroids 2 dank

awww too late! i already topped my plant (just the monster one that was past the top of the AG. i didn't hear back from you and i did a little research on pruning and thought i was doing the right thing. luckily that plant was probably a male anyways, like you said bg. if not, i still have 4 more plants that i haven't touched with a razor. i took off about 3 inches, just enough to lower the AG light by one notch.
i have no idea what strain these plants are either. they came from a bag of mids i purchased and sort of did an experiment.
so you say the fox farm nutes suck? they seem to be working great for me, but then again, i have nothing else to compare their progress with. flora nova has steroids to help produce dank plants??????? for real???? does that mean i can take my mid seeds, use that flora nova stuff, and come out with better weed ?
well, you at least have to give me some credit for getting my plants this far. i have never even seen a plant growing (only the buds in a bag baby), so for me to accomplish this much is CRAPTACULAR. and besides the fact that most of the information i have acquired from bg420 has greatly helped me to do this. i hope you feel like a better person now, knowing without your help i probably wouldn't have plants this huge yet! :)

i just wish i could get some seeds mailed to me cause im scared to do it on the internet, and around these parts, all there is are mids or less. i have lived here for 2 years and still haven't found a bag of chronic. so i have resorted to planting my own so i dont have to travel through the ghetto to get ripped off every damn time. plus they see me as a little skinny white girl and try to take advantage of me lol.
i would be so happy if i had some nice seeds, cause i have the set up to grow it!

fist fox farm dos not suck but flora nova is supperior no steroids in it just makes plants bush as soon as they start growing very first week i never have to clip or fim and i get the bushiest plants ever,,,, thx fist for the reps i want you 2 be able to grow and know as good as me ur next grow i'll help u from the very begging and u will be amazed and when i hused to clip plants (never have to now ,nova,) i only cut new top growth not inchs of plant hit me up if u need any thing ,:peace:420 dr.chronic .com order and tell him bg420 sent you all the best seeds from amsterdam sent( world wide ) order this week and u'll have them in less than 10 days and best f@cking prices and service !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I topped my two biggest ones and in less than a week it had two new branches... The first top i made was the MAIN stalk... Now I have two MAIN stalks I also topped the two two stalks and soon I'll have 4 and so on and so on....also bg420 was rite about the side lighting then they would have grown towards the light... About the lighting situation maybe try hanging them?

rushbuds, i topped about 3 or 4 inches off my plant. i razored the main stalk, and also a few small branches that had big leaves that were shading the other plants. where i topped it off is now a black color, but other than that the plant seems to be doing fine. i think when my husband gets home today we might try and figure out a way to do the pvc pipe connect thingy.
i rearranged my plants though, so the big bushy ones are on one side and the two smaller ones are on the other side, right next to the cfl spiral. they were previously sort of hidden in between the big plants and weren't getting the light from above or on the sides.
its a good thing im not using any special seeds for my first grow. once i see if i actually get any buds off these then i might try and get some decent seeds and start off with a complete setup and some experience.
how much longer do you guys think till i start getting some buds??? its been almost 5 weeks now and at the tops of plants its starting to cluster up and has sort of what looks like the beginning of a flower starting to form. its whitish, and actually looks more like a bunch of leaves all starting to come out the top. oh hell, i might as well just post a pic so you can see what i mean.

Do you plan to transplant those at any time? Just wondering because I've started my first grow in an aerogarden and i'm wondering If I'll ever be able to get them out of it again without damaging the roots.

if the roots r not tangled with each other u can transplant if there tangled dont bother or u'll kill ur babys ,,,:peace:420 if there not tangled i put siran wrap around roots to make roots go through ag top wrap roots like a big spliff

clusters might be males pollen sacks females have white hairs every where to strt the bud forming ,,,420

fist get those cfls raised allittle bit so most of the lights hitting top of the plants ,your pics of clusters just look like side branchs growing did u switch 2 12/12 if not u'll never bud ,,,420

yeah, i switched to 12/12 on saturday, 4 days ago. i am going to raise the cfls this afternoon like you say i should do. so it doesn't look like any buds are coming soon then :( ??? damn.

for you, major lee mashed....i dont know if i am ever going to transport them to somewhere else besides the ag. this is my first grow, so its an experiment sorta i guess. this week i am going to get some pvc pipe so that after i can sex my plants and get rid of the males (im hoping for 2 females out of the 5 plants, but who knows what will happen), leaving me hopefully with 2 plants in the ag. hopefully i can just keep them there

Damn, I was hoping you were going to transplant them, so I could get an idea if is its possible ;-).... Guess I'm gonna have to take the chance & just go for it in a month or so.

it is possible. im not sure how to do it, but with a little research and reading up on the posts/threads from this website, you should get a good idea of how to do it. i often just type in my question and google it...."how to transplant marijuana plants from my aerogarden to....(fill in the blank)"

i guarantee you it will lead you to this website :)
