picking seeds

I know a lot of people buy their seeds. Isn't it possible to just pick the seeds from your own plant and grow more? If it is possible when do you pick the seeds. Is it possible to use seeds after the weed is dried? Thanks for any help.

female plants produce bud's, male plants produce pollen and degraded weed full of seed. If you put these 2 together your male will pollinate the female in which your once sinsemillia (seed less weed) is now full of seed. But say you take a AK47 male and pollinate it with a Northern Lights thats a cross bread, i heard this hard to keep that strain stable never done this myself, straight sinsemillia guy.It will do this naturally and the seeds will be ready when bud is mature. :leaf:

you can also just pollinate a small side bud with a tiny paint brush
this gives you plenty of seeds without seeding up your whole plant
good description in the sticky under the advanced cultivation forum(i think)
