Picking before ready?

I have an outdoor plant that has been flowering for maby a month its like 3ft tall but my problem is that it is now too cold for it to grow were im living its in the 50's every day and i have not see any progress for the last week or 2 so should i let the plant sit in the yard or should i cut it down before its ready? If i cut it down before its ready will the budz still be good enough to smoke?

If its frosting lightly it may still survive. If its snowin' you are done. Any chance you could move it inside?? The smoke you get won't be bad just not as good as it could be if the plant were fully mature. If you didn't plant it late it just might be fully mature?? VV
