I'm going in a pc case thats 20'' tall. I currently have two cfl's in there and i will be growing lowryder in here. I would like to get 2-3 plants growing for good harvest but my main concern is my lighting. I have 2 27w 5500k cfl's in there right now and the lowryder isnt looking too good. Couple things i screwed up on is my medium and i need a little bigger pots for the roots. Please suggest some lights for me for my setup. I've asked a couple times in different threads but am yet to get a good answer, Thank you

Edit: Here is the actual pc case for actual dimensions

If you are low on budget, you should go with a lot more CFLs. that means you will need more room to grow. I suggest getting a ballast and a 400w Metal Halide bulb. that is the best course of action and the plants will be growing extremely fast.

It looks very much like that is exactly what you need but i cant confirm this since I have never bought a ballast before so I can't tell you how much your electric bill will rise either. grab someone else and ask them so we can get a second opinion. I will make them talk :D

haha, well thanks for the help. I dont think i'd get that light for this case but i'm going to find out if i can grow in a filing cabnet or something, in that case i'd be getting this light

you can fit 4 of those cfls in there. 4 cfls should be fine for your veg for 2-3 plants (more likely 2). when you are ready to flower just switch out the 26w day bulbs to 42w warm bulbs. If your plants dont look too good it may be alot of other factors than the lights. just 2 26w cfls should get you through the first 2 weeks for 2 plants.
