pic question

Under the attachments section in the my rollitup section it says 'downloads' and a lists number.
Is this actual downloads or a count on views when you expand a picture?

Technically both, because your computer has the memory. If you find it you can view all the pictures that you have Buffered through this site(everywhere else) and for every picture you click on, Buffers through your "DownLoads" view.

Cache? Not buffer. And that's not really how it works. I suspect kinetic it is count on views, controlled by the vbulletin image plugin.

It was good enough. All Images/Videos have a URL program that is indented on your hard drive. Keep that in mind, when you look at the littlest picture of porn. Your wife can still see it through the memory

I understand how computers work well enough to understand cache. I built the equipment that runs the shit you guys work on. Think multiplexers, lightwaves, fujitsu 9500's etc. My question has more to do with if the download number is tracking how many people actually download the pic off of vbulletin or if it's just a count of how many times the picture was expanded.

The answer is has nothing to do with cache or cookies or "buffer". It is a software questions, more specifically it is a vBulletin question, and even more specific than that, if RIU uses an image plugin, it likely has something to do with that. The count, I would assume, would be a stored row in a db table, and not cache or "buffer".

Sunni is correct, if a mod can't answer it, then PR is probably the right dude to talk to.
