thanks. i think that kush is just so leafy it doesn't give the buds enough light, so the sun leaves had to go. now that i've got gravity I can utilize those leaves better and will only remove particularly intrusive ones. I think on other strains the fan leaves are more neccesary.

So i know i said i killed all the white widows, and i did plan to... but i saved the budding one, and now it finally has a home! so I'll get some sweet nugs from that if Cali doesn't break off into the ocean from this fuckin storm...
the little kush has only shown minimal yellowing of the leaves, that thing is like gravity resistant. gave it it's second gravity watering last night, hoping to harvest some rocks lol.
I'm in the middle of building a keif box, just taking a break. boo-yah-ku-sha!

thanks bro. not sure exactly wat ur asking, but i find that the weed gains all of its full aroma only if cured correctly.
the smell before curing could be either shitty or not there but the finished product might get a nicer smell after curing.
the weed could get skunky if mold developes, thats why I always get the buds really dry, then add moisture back with fresh fan leaves from living plants. srry for the ramble and

dry hash starts as kief, then is pressed into the wafer that i posted. almost identical to some bubble hash until you light it and... no bubbling lol
my friends also got some weight of seeded weed, so i'm gonna de-seed it with a very coarse screen and all the remaining shake will be dry seived and then used for bubble hash. great chronic, just 5x more seeds than weed.

I've slacked long enough, here's some pics to generally update things the lazy way. and for now i'll just say that trainwreck will adapt to almost any LST in one day, its crazy.

thanks SSLW... i am really clueless on this plant. i got 9g off a smaller kush, but this one lived a lot longer and i used gravity on it. hopefully it'll be about 14g...

right on slabby! God those pictures are so satisfying when i'm lit, and playing with them distracts me from homework, haha.
as for the grow, i think i've reached a comfortable point with growing in general that I can start focusing on efficiency. new bulb, stronger nutrient feedings, more organized watering schedule, and bigger buds + yields! my environment, fertilizer, and potency are all what I want them to be, so I can switch my focus a bit to quantity hopefully.

ok, damn that trainwreck is like speed. i sampled some of the smaller useless stalks and its already so yummy and SO stoney is an overwhelmingly upbeat way. its almost like meth, seriously

oh man, i could never thank you enough for this strain, as a college student. now i can study high, test high, then score high!

in terms of drying, i like to test the buds of any new strain in stages. that, and i had been dying to try it. glad i did, whew!

the main problem with a perpetual grow is that i'm not motivated to post pics of little things like harvests, cloning, etc cause i do it all of the time. but things are going great right now in the grow...
I have 4 each of PK and TW budding and looking healthy... i'll post my harvest pics of the first TW soon.
I am harvesting the Purple Kush in the pics today, its been sitting in the dark for a few days now. i can visually see the difference that leaving it in the dark has made. BTW i already took the top stalk a few days ago, so this picture is missing the main nug. pretty purple too.
The last SOG kush came out to 12g dried, so 3g more than its smaller buddy. gravity didn't do too much, but i also didn't use it that far in advance... i'll try it again next time.

hey thanks for the comment man, its been ghost town in these parts haha. this was the first grow where i had enough to smoke and didn't have to chop it early. I let the trichs finish and it purpled more than i expected. haven't smoked any of the full-term weed yet, i'm pretty psyched. the first two TWs i grew are almost done! one more week tops...
