photo mixed with auto

Depends but I have heard that it will first be 0-25% of the offspring seeds will autoflower and then you must breed the autoflowering together 2-3 more times for a halfway stable auto. Never done it but I also have been thinking about it.

I'm thinking about giving it a shot. I'm going to practice a little with pollinating and get that down

Close, if you take a photo and an auto the f1 will be 100% photo because autoflowering is a recessive trait and photoperiod responsive plants are dominant , if you then take a male and female from your f1 population and. Use them to make an f2 generation you will see 25% autoflowrring plants 25% AA fully photo plants and 50% will be photo but be carriers for autoflowering (Aa). So if you then take autoflowering plants from the f2 and make seed from those plants youll get a 100% autoflowering strain by the f3, however if thats all youve been selecting for the strain will still need to be refined to make it more uniform and add stability by locking down just the 1 or 2 phenos you like. Its a lot of work but fun!

Thanks for that wonderful knowledge my friend. Maybe you can enlighten me about tiersias mist and fem some seeds from the same strains of some autos. Have you ever heard of them? Tm I mean haha.

interesting, I was just going to post that I'm in the process of doing this, I pollinated a purple kush auto with Blue Venom Feminized pollen. The Purple Kush grew out deformed from the start (others have reported this happening with seeds from the same company), so I was thinking it may strengthen it with some photo pollen. Either way, since the purple kush is disappointed, i figured, what the hell, pollinate it for shits and giggles to see what happens. Although, I did notice one seed growing in the open, is this a common occurrence? or have seeds like this been known to be viable? I also put the same pollen on part of a Northern light blue auto.

So essentially, one could create a photo strain with a cross of auto x photo?

I have not used TM myself so i cant really comment, but i will say that if your an organic grower you can get fem pollen off of most strains by letting them run about 2 weeks longer than usual at which poit theyll beginputting off male parts "nanners" then just harvest the bud, pick the little nanners off with a set of tweezers, drop them in a ziploc and theyll keep in the freezer for a couple of weeks while remaining viable or preferably you would have a female growing a about 2 or 3 weeks flower (enough pistils to pollinaye) and just use the tweezers to shake the pollen onro your younf demale and baddabing youve got feminized seeds made the 100% organic way, the only issue i see arising would be selecting for plants that throw nanners may lead to a strain that produces more hermies faster towards the later part of flower but. Shouldnt be an issue if your just making some fem seeds for yourself. However if you mean to breed using feminized seeds you may want to rethink it, (selecring for hermies is a big no no in the drug cannabis world)
Especially starting your f1 with a hermie prone plant then all progeny afterwords will be predisposed to hermaphroditism and that includes feminizing with TM and colloidal silver.

Jteezy, yes that is correct , just look up gregor mendell and the punnett square its a very useful tool.for breeders needing to predict the probability of different genotypes in the progeny ofvour crosses.
Crossing photos to autos is how many breederd are knocking out those last few ruderalis hangups and infusing them with the qualities we love about photos.(aside from the obvious autoflowering itself which is a pretty useful trait)
