My seedling is a week old but has a purple stem and hasn't grown it's first leaves so i think it's phosphorus lockout due to cold.Do you know if i should water it with warm water or just heat the room? Thanks

Heat the room! Warm water can cause more problem with the root system. You need it in a 70 to 80 deg room

I really enjoyed reading this post. I congratulate you for the terrific job you've made. Great stuff, just simply amazing!

Not 100% sure but.... I highly doubt that specific nutrient lockouts can come from cold. The cold will just slow down all functional processes just like it does in any plant or animal if it gets cold enough....circulation just stops altogether...so your seedling isnt uptaking anything.

plants cannot perspire in cold temps. it has nothing to do w/ lockout. Also seedlings do not take up nutrients until about 2 weeks. Just water.
