Phosphorus issues during veg?

This plant recently started showing some purple in both older and newer leaves. The leaf tips of new growth are also purple. The strain is Lava Cake, which I know has some purple in the buds, but I'm not sure if this is a result of genetics at this stage in veg.

Growing in FFOF
Has had 2x week 1 fox farm nute feedings (grow big, wholly mackerel, kangoroots) w/ 1 plain watering in between
240w kingbrite qb (3000k+3500k w/ IR on)
pH around 6.5 each watering
Slurry test showed 5.95pH

Any help would be appreciated

I get purpling every time, whether it’s a purple strain or not, but only during the last 3-4 weeks before harvest, not during veg. Ocean forest is good all on its own, might be dealing with a toxicity issue, not deficiency. What type of water are you using?

Using ph'd tap water ~6.5ph in 3 gal fabric pots.

This plant was transplanted 1 month ago from a small quart pot w/ miracle grow (I know, I know).. was a just a small experiment outside and then brought it inside when I got tent/light). Could the miracle grow be releasing nutrients?

The plant was completely fine till about 2 days ago.

I have the full foxfarm nute lineup (dirty dozen + wholly mackerel + kelp me kelp you) if anything would help at this stage.

Looks like lots of issues

Tap water?

How much and when do you decide they need water

Distance light is away

Why just grow big....why not using them all, the trio
Tap water ph'd to 6.5. ~.5 gallons every 2-3 days, switch between nutes/water every other feeding.

lights ~24" away @ 65% intensity

I am using the entirety of the fox farm nute lineup. So far have only used grow big, kangoroots, and wholly mackerel

Water when needed, not when u think

Do the lift test to know when

And that soil will feed them for 4-5 weeks, so yer over feeding I'd say

I check if the first knuckle is dry when I water. Can try the lift test.

The plant was in this soil for 4 weeks before I started feeding

If your new, just use the trio and calmag

All that other crap will just make things impossible go judge what the plant is doing

And start at like 1/3-1/2 strength

Thanks for the help. I have been feeding ~1/3 strength. I ordered some calmag, hopefully this helps.
Calmag really isn’t necessary if you are using tap. I would advise letting the water sit out for at least 24hrs prior to use. But yes that MG will slowly release over time, but not enough to do what you are experiencing. I think it’s from the bottle feeding into a soil that already has enough nutrients in it to feed the plant for a while. I would back off the bottle feeding and just water for now. You’re not gonna fix the already damaged leaves, just check the newer growth and see if the problem stops. If it does, you know excessive nutrition was the issue.

Great advice. Thanks.

I have another plant that appears much healthier but I can't determine if it has a mg deficiency or is something else. I've read that quantum boards/LED's can cause cal/mag deficiencies.. but like you said (I've also read) that tap water shouldn't need cal/mag added.

Personally, ffof is a tuff soil to grow in

I'd get Promix HP, works amazing, and no nutes in it
I will look into that. I would like to have more control of what the plant is feeding, seems this would help. I have a bag of happy frog and ocean forest that I'll try to use up for the next grow. I've heard happy frog isn't as hot as OF so I may try that first.
