I had quit for twenty years, but last year my cousin while visiting damn near died in an auto accident (he was drunk) and stayed with me to recuperate. While trying to dry him out and pretty much be there 24/7 I picked up the one thing we had in common...he smoked. Once I found those darn camel wides... he's gone (and still drinking ), and I'm still smoking....darn those Camels.

out. :blsmoke:

Well put 'em down Jax and quit with the rest of us.

It's getting easier for me everyday. I'm almost at the 2 week point now.

If you get stressed and need to vent, come on here and vent away, then I'll vent back and we can make fun of each other...... blah, blah, blah...... you can do it.

My son was here yesterday and wanted to bum a cig and I told him I had some that had been sitting open for nearly 2 weeks. He freaking took one and left. I wonder if it killed him?

Miss just fell off !!

I'm going to quit but I always like to end things on a high (<---high) note. As soon as I weasel a carton of Chunghwa Cig's somewhere, I'll quit.

Not a chance, I don't fly and I quit smoking. I'm on the ground somewhere with my map out pretending to be checking directions while smoking hitters.

I blamed my cousin, too, lol. Pretty much a similar situation, had lived over there for a year (I was renting the back room) and we'd go outside and talk at like 1 am or 2 am after I got off of work so he could smoke, and I got started.

Well, I guess I wasn't actually addicted, it just became a habit to light up while socializing, and now it isn't. Regardless of the fact that I've been coerced into quitting, I'd rather be coerced into not giving money to the government than coerced into giving them more money because of my habit.

I have better things to do with my money (like getting drunk and driving*)

If we had mandatory sex education which covers pregnancy and disease prevention in all high schools, maybe there wouldn't be so many children needing insurance.

the reason you have so many children is you have the tax payers paying the poor to have children. we have been doing this for years and years. now we ( the intelligent people) have been out bred by genetic GARBAGE .
and the same genetic garbage that we have been feeding and supporting for years seems to be getting elected to office over and over again. they have learned from growing up in america that they can vote their hand into someone else's pocket.
we have paid them to breed.
then to take our money through tax and to enslave us.
the problem is that no one seems to understand is that once you get to the point that you have more people earning a government check than you do people working in the private economy to support the welfare workers.( wall street bankers included)the system goes in collapse.
all of the workers who have been counting on the government check find out the well has run dry and they have bled the private sector dry.now what?

I have 2 unopened packs that I thing I'm going to give to my son. I've been keeping them just in case, but I think it's time to ditch them. I think I can pitch this stale 2 week old pack sitting on the desk too.
