Pheno hunting

When pheno hunting how far in depth does your search go??
All the way to smoke??
or just to veg….
or to flower…..
if all the way to smoke , do you take clones of all of them and keep them alive until you have a smoke report and then trash the undesirables??
That seems like a lot of work…..

As everyone said this if u going the keep cuts to smoke not to breed with but tbh myself i go from seed everytime i like variety and its what im used to so i stick with it i dont keep cuts but i have plenty of mates who do then again most of my friends exposure to growing plants is just cannabis i like growing all sorts of plants not just weed so thats a factor too tbh the hardest side of pheno hunting if its to breed with is the male selection cos the only true way to know how good a male truly is is to grow out enough of its progeny and smoke it least u can smoke and see more with the female side of clones

If you go through enough seed one day you will sprout a real freak, if you don't have a cutting of it you are fucked.

They always get 2 shots. Maybe I fd up the first time? If it's the same neg aspects momma gets the snip. Just did it with my lemon skunk Las Vegas x runtz. Too stretchy, and low yeilding. Buds nice to smoke but not nice enough to justify dealing with the fuckery of the stretch. NEXT!
