Phantom ballast problem

It's the timer, stop the nonsense... get the timer.... your grow is wasting.... why haven't you left yet?

Because I'm only sexing the bagseeds. So I don't need it right now. Plus I don't get paid until next Friday .... It sucks getting paid every 2 weeks.

Damn that thing is expensive... Might have to wait longer cuz bills are due..... I live check to check little money between.

No clue what the hell the problem was... Would start so I put my mh in it fired up right away unplugged the ballast put my hps back in, plugged it in and it worked right away.... Makes no sense to me
Intermitent, problems suck and are hard to fix,I do A/C work and hate em!

Yeah, I'm usually home at 9pm when my lights "turn on" and they turn off at 9am so as long as they turn off I can turn them on whenever I get I get home shortly after 9pm

I'm just going to put daily reminders in my phone. Until I can get a timer. Might get a cheapo from walmart and see if that wont fix it until I can get the one above. Well the 110 version that one is 220 I think

I don't know if it is a timer issue or not,but I use the same ballast and on the side of it there is
green lights for you to check for a status code the ballast will give you.

Look on your ballast above the dimmer lights.

Ive used those cheap timers now for over 10yrs,never have had one not work.

Now I have replaced em,of course but went back to almost the same.
I like the one that has a Green and Red clips, opposed to the push down tabs.

Just plugged it back in. Was unplugged about 10 minutes. Gotta wait for the 15 minute warm up thing and we will see if it sparks up. Will post if it does or doesn't. I'm hoping it does because I'm sexing my plants early..

well im sorry but 15 min warm up? sounds pretty shit to me, mine fires up right away, mh to hps to sonT no probs,

I did, its giving me standby. It will do it for hours until I turn the timer to a time it would be off, u plug and plug back in turn the timer to a on time and it fires right up.

i never had any problems with the timer til now.

Mine does too if I unplug and plug back in. When I get it to work, and it turns off in 12 hours it won't turn on when it needs to again. I can turn the timer as much as I want and it still won't. I have to do what I wrote above...

Could it be the bulb? When I took it out of the box, I hear a slight rattle type noise like it was hitting against glass I mean it is a cheap ipower bulb...but why does it work after I unplug and plug back in ? I don't understand this has completely stumpt me...

strangely enough, my timer is working now.. not sure what the problem was?? but it turned on for the past 2 nights.

should i keep my mechanical? or should i get a digital..?
