distilled water is a good choice, should be around 6.0 ph.
some hydro additives will list the product ph on the label, you'll at least have an idea of how much you might be changing it with that info. ph test kits are cheap, like ten bucks. try a pet store/aquarium shop for some really basic kits.:hump:

So, I'm guessing it's safe to water them with distilled water or 'Reversed Osmosis' (RO) water as these water do not have nutrients in them. So it's safe to water clones or baby plants with these non-nutritional water?

i used tap water at first midway thru veg stage of my 1st grow i switched to distilled water and got much better results, now i have a ro system and it produces really good results, if you wanna keep it pretty simple just do like dad and gk advised and get a ph kit and "make" your water where you need it to be.
