ph question

hey guys im doin a small hydro garden and was wondering how often everyone has to adgust the ph and how often are some of us changing all the water in the system thx and looking forward to seeing a bunch or replies

I seek a pH of 5.5 to 6.5, 5.8 being the best for me. I TOP OFF my water, daily, and adjsut the pH daily. I drain and replinish at least once a week.

thx for the post just getting back into hydro and didnt remember having to worry about it so much but my ph is rising a fair bit each day (i have 1 plant in the system)

I change my water every two weeks,as Roseman has said,some do it every week.It is up to you and what fits your system best.Small tanks i would change more often.
When i change water in my system, i make up all of my water for two weeks.I check ph once and it never goes above 6.7-6.8 at the end of two weeks.I start my ph around 5.2-5.3 and add my nutrients.Try starting with a lower ph,don't try to keep it 6.8 when you start.OPH

hey thx old pothead ive been testing water and adding ph down to try and get it right i finally figured it out (i think) i was really excited it was like i was doin a science experiement i have a digital ph tester and one of the bottle of drops.
