I think 5.5 is low anyway. I think between 5.5 and 6.5 is general census of ok

K but mines still at 7.5 which is a little high I personally would at least like it to stay in the 6 range have you ever used lemon juice ? I know in dwc they say that fix only lasts a couple days but seeing as I water every couple days it wouldn't bother me an thx for the quick reply

My tap ph is like 8.5 so i MUST ph, or i get nasty lock-outs. run a fuck ton of 5.0 or lower till that run off is, 6.5, then run a few 6.5's through it (all during normal water time.) plant will think its raining hard, not much shock.

No i use my tap water just as it comes out of the tap without any problems, so ive never fucked with it.

I myself try & keep mine between 6.0 & 6.5 no lower, no higher. Which reminds me. I need more ph test solution. Was hoping all day my ladies wouldn't start drooping because of the heat. ;)
Ya today was crazy hot here and my tent was a little warm because of it. Glad i have this new led for summer because i really dont want to run an ac.

I hear that.. yeah I am starting to really like the LEDS myself. Much more cooler in there by far. That & with a fan blowing I can usually keep my temps around 75 mid summer with an air conditioner blowing in the other room. ;)

Lol does lemon juice drop ph? Fml lol k retested runoff, tap and soil ph is at 4.5 this trainwreck has me messed up my bad so does baking powder raise ph.lol i heard that it could be bad cause it raises calcium which locks out magnesium however a guy then stated this was full of shit and that the guy misquoted what baking soda is and does not raise calcium smh so yea feel free to answer both questions as someone else nay need to know if lemon juice works :)

Hard to figure out when some do that huh  Yeah, lemon will drop your ph. Can I ask though. Why not just get ph up & down. IDK your situation though. Anything that has a acid base to it will. Some even use vinegar to lower. Although I have to say I have never used that. To answer your question LJ does work.

I do believe that this will be my very last post about PH and soil. I just can't take it anymore.

Chasing the "perfect PH" in soil is a fool's errand. Ask yourself...."Do farmers adjust PH for their crops?" No. "Do outdoor pot growers adjust their soil's PH?" No. "Do you adjust PH for any of your plants or lawn outside?" No. "DOES ANY PLANT OUTSIDE ON THE EARTH GET THE PH OF ITS SOIL ADJUSTED FOR PH?" NO!

I water my plants straight from the tap with a PH of 8.1...no letting the water sit....just right from the tap. No plant problems at all.

And so far I myself have spent ten bucks and had a guy pitch me 40$ seeing what i can do with minimal $$ for all the broke potheads lol and being my first grow dont mind building up as i go if that makes

Lilroach you make a very valid point lol however have you ever tried to keep your ph balanced to see if your yield would increase? And im not trying to patronize honestly want to know cause I might just do that if no one has
