Ph problems in Ecogrower.

Hello... I know this might be a dumb question and has been asked a million times but I'm gonna ask it yet again...
It's my first hydroponic grow, and I'm using the Ecogrower, with Canna nutrients. I currently have 5 plants on it, and it's been 16 days since I switched the light cycle. I also use tap water which's Ph is at around 8, and EC at 0,2~.

The problem has been there since the start of the project.. My Ph keeps rising to unhealthy numbers in a short(ish) time. I've been keeping the ppm at 1000~ which is about 1,4-1,5 EC and adjusting the Ph to around 5,6~ every top up, but the Ph just rises to 6,4 or so in a matter of few days. I tried making a totally new nutrient solution, but the same thing just happens. I've got the plants in Clay pebbles which were properly rinsed before planting.

The plants are going strong and seem very healthy, but the Ph is a problem... I don't like the idea of topping the reso and adding Ph down 3 times a week, dunno what to do..
