Ph meter why/

look I=have had 5 indoor closet grows 4 or 5 plants at a time in soil 3 gallonpots never bought or evev know how towork onw is it qorth my while and whats the cheaspest if any thanks

if your plants did awesome and you didnt have any problems at all .. then no
if you had nute problems or your plants just didnt look like they should or small yield .. etc .. then yes

I have never bothered with a pH meter for soil.
I have never touched hydro without frequent constant use of a pH meter.
Imo ... a dash of dolomite in the soil (if it's decent soil) means no pH worries ever. cn
