ph in rockwool????

anyone know wut the ph'd water added to rockwool should be throughout the entire grow?? Lucas formula hydro in grodan 6" cubes..after rockwool intial flush..clones from neighborhood collective that I brought home...I heard between 5.8-6.2...does this sound right? top feed drip system.


in short: what ph should RO water that I add for feeding be at? thnx

5.8 is the hydro sweet spot. Keep in mind, that RW will raise the ph of your solution when it passes through.

I used to soak the rockwool first but it was such a pain to drain the water from so I took Al B's advice and ran the ph at 5.6 the first couple days. Test the water that drains off and see what it's ph is. 5.8 is the magic number.
