Ph adjustment question for dwc

I think the ph on my plants dwc was lower than I wanted for 3-4 days and it started showing brown spots. I raised it to around 6.4 and plan to readjust to 5.8 or so in a day or so. It just seems that with every one of these ph/nute uptake infographics there is a gap between some of the nutes and that sticking to one ph will always lock out something. I've considered swinging half a point or so up and down on a weekly basis to provide a range. My thought is that constantly varying what's available will make sure there is enough of everything.kind of like varying your own diet. Thoughts?

I get what you are saying; let it oscillate between say 5.4 -6.2 and the plant should be able to suck up the assorted nutes along the ride.....
I dunno, I use a automatic H2O top off system and constant ppm/pH monitoring (so the water level--> nute dilution is stable)...and basically keep my pH stable and ppm kinda/sorta stable..... just my un-substantiated opinion but I'd just assume find a sweet spot around 5.8-5.9 and stay there (again, requires a continual monitor like a Hanna Growchek or whatever)

We'll, for me, at this juncture in my dabbling with cannabis, I have to/want to dick around with stuff every couple days anyway. Maybe automation will solve this dilemma for me in the future, but for now it's not a possibility.
