Pets: Growroom Friend or Foe?

I was just curious how many people let ur pets in your grow. I have 2 cats and personally dont let them in. They try to get in the window but have a hard time because of my fan in there and usually knock it over. One likes to climb up the fabric of my tent. One is a strait addict and will eat ur shit gone if u let him. Plus when i was harvesting one jumped in my pot, and started scratching around like a litter box. I stood up to get her out and she ran, knocking over my pot and spilling dirt all in my carpet. Not to mention picking hairs off buds. So at least will my pets they arent allowed anywhere near my shit. Just stoned and curious if any of u have better luck and ur pets make growroom companions. Peace.

foe........ they can transport bugs and shit. And cats being the assholes they are will try and piss in your pots whenever they can

that makes sense, but my cats are both indoor only, but thats good advice for people who may let their animals in. especially if they go outdoors.

Foe, for the previously mentioned bug problem, and they don't understand the importance of NOT chewing on the plants haha. Friend's dog ALWAYS tries chewing on the stems of the plants and attacking them for whatever reason and I cringe every time, he just sits there and laughs, man no wonder your plants die all the time and turn into hermies haha.

I say foe too. I have an indoor-only white cat who looks for any opportunity to chew on fan leaves and get hair all over my sticky buds.

Damn, I'm gonna be the first one to say Friend. I have both a cat and dog and have zero problems. My wife had two cats and one like to eat the fan leaves so I got rid of it. now the second cat won't go near my grow room :). Now my dog (American Pitt Bull Terrier) goes to the grow room with me every day and lays under the lights not even paying attention to the plants but just soaking up the heat.

cat dont go into tent- but im still always pulling cat hairs from buds- cats have these light floating hairs that go every where

some cats a bigger prob -some like to eat nibble on them- some like to go to bathroom on them -some ignore them but all leave there hairs floating around

Friend of Foe? I mean, all they bring to the table is company. Great, haha, and if my cats started watering the plants and doing reservoir changes, I'd call 'em friend. But as it stands, besides the good company of our beloved pets, they can only detrimentally affect the grow room. Gotta go with foe...Just cause they don't HARM the grow, doesn't meant they're helping...well, beyond moral support! ;)

I can see how if your like most people and nobody knows about your grow except maybe one other person and if you spend a huge portion of your day in your grow room doing work how some animal company might be nice (dogs only, fuck cats hair everywhere they are not mans best friend nor are they ganja's best friend

Friend/foe my dog likes to stick his big ass head right in the grow box! Sometime drool on a leaf or bud as we do! Haha maybe a leaf will poke him in the eye so he has to stand his ground or he will spin around and here comes the tail! But for the most part he will just hang out by the door and chill!

never had a dog in the grow room but cats are bad news in there. hairs on the buds, chewed leaves, and making stool in the dirt. sometimes the little bastard just digs in the dirt for fun. he even fucks with my trim bucket. i've caught him in there just sunning under the light and smiling. it's cute and all but no good really comes of it.

Yeah that's my boy!! His name is Diablo and he always has the bees buzzing around his head!! I grow in a bc northern lights grow box and he is only in there when I'm in there. He did knock a WW over with his tale and the plant is doing better then it was lol!

I let my dog and cats in the room where my tents are. The cats just sit outside the tents and soak up heat (one is hairless) my dog chico loves fan leaves to the point he even FMIC one of my plants. I let him in still but i watch him,

I wouldn't let them in the actual grow space, for fear of getting pests and huge amounts of hair in there. I'm sure if one of my pups walked in the fans would suck/blow all the loose hair of 'em. I still find hairs in my buds, it's whatever though people know the best bud around here has dog hairs in it ;)

Friend
She just looks for spiders on the floor
The hair is minimal as I brush her a lot
And any that gets on buds gets trimmed off
Besides, I gotta let her in the grow room. Bitch told me if I don't let her in she would call the popo.
