Spray them with 1part w/up liquid 10 parts water. totally harmless to your girls but gets rid of the pests. My grandad swore by it when ridding his tomato plants of the buggers in his greenhouse.:joint:

guessing gnats, lil black fuckers with wings, going crazy in the soil.

I'm guessing you have potting soil for fruits or vegetables cause they go crazy for the stuff, also this is from overwatering, or too often. If you let the soil dry out between waterings they won't be able to survive there.

After you kill them off by letting the soil dry out, put 1 inch of sand over the soil. Keeping them away from the food supply as far as i know they don't eat the plant, but there larvae eat the roots.

Remove top layer of soil and replace as the larva might be in the soil...you can also use fly strips if they are flying insects... If you use a insecticide, use the one for fruits..as its safer for us.....

thanks guys... they arnt flying but hopping...i just got some strips, layed them out across the soil and i got most of them (from what i can see)... im going to take the top layer of soil out to try and get rid of any larva, thats a good idea... they must be nats cuz they dont seem to be up on the plant (3 months 11" just started 2nd light cycle a few days ago). im trying really hard not to use insecticide. sand seems like a good idea too... thanks again everyone.
