i put my plant in the ground on friday the 11th of may. went to check on it this morning and one of 5-blades had a big hunk chewed off of it. :cuss: any info on easy, cost efficient animal and insecticides greatly appreciated.

hmmm chunked by what??? an animal probably would have eaten the whole top, so probably grasshoppers or inchworms, you could spray with bug repelent, seven dust is good for slugs and fungus gnats and stuff, mild soap solution sprayed on the leaves is supposed to help. usually i just let them be unless i think they are in danger of taking over the plant, be wary of spraying poison on a plant you plan to smoke in the futer.

i don't worry about bugs, thats my recipe... a little biting won't hurt them much, my recipie is to go out every two weeks and look at all the cool spiders on my plants, and kill any grasshoppers. though they never eat them too bad, and new ones will move in within an hour. you could buy praying mantis egg sacs, they sell them on line and are supposed to treat an acre. ive always wanted to try them, maybe this season, i don't think they cost much....

whats seven dust ?
need de help

it's like a ground up coral that you spread around the ground and it cuts up the bugs that go near it and they die. they sell it at your local lowes or garden store.
