pest control help please

i live in the middle of nowhere, i do not have access to to anything but a small convenience store.

i have these little white bastardly bugs eating my plants. not a very big infestation, only a few leaves have been chewed here and there.

whats a cheap and healthy way to get rid of these invaders?

i read this garden tip, that you can spray your plants lots when the lights arent on? this makes some bugs go away?

mix water, lemon juice, and dishsoap and spray

dawn dish soap and water works. or take onions, garlic, and cloves and boil it down and let cool and spray. by by bugies.

about a cap full to a gallon of water.
