Perserving clones?

This is just a quick query before i start my grow.

Whats the best way to preserve clones. as I do not want to plant them until i have harvested the initial grow?

All of my prior research (mainly youtube and forums such as this) have shown how to take clones and plant them immediately, but as stated before i don't want to plant to both lack of pots and room, so is there anyway to keep the clones alive for potentially weeks without planting? or does anyone have any advice for me in this situation?

I have left cuts in an aero cloner for a month in library mode. Sitting in a dome is a different matter.

Personally, once roots develop they should go into a grow medium but as stated earlier they can go a while withought. Maybe consider putting them in plastic cups under cfl. Growth is slow and the room that takes up is negligible.
