perpetual harvest grow tents

so, starting a new grow, Ill be doing a perpetual harvest using grow tents (4x4 or 5x5) 1000 watt lights, with an inline canfan to cool the lights, and another canfan for the carbon filter and air circulation. I still need to decide on the type of Hydro system to use in each tent. im trying to get as much yeild as possible, so if that means using buckets and growing less plants but growing them bigger thats cool, or if that means using something like the aeroflo2 and doing alot more smaller plants. or something like a SOG or something like that is fine too. i just want to know what you guys think will produce a higher yeild.

Whichever you study the most and are most comfortable with will give you your highest yeild.
Mind you, some strains take better to certain techniques (sog, scrog) than others.

Good luck. Happy growing.

i understand that completly, but i find it hard to believe that when you are working with a the same ammount of space, that it dosnt matter wether you grow 8 large plants, or you grow 18 smaller ones

Of course it matters. Personally, I suscribe to "go big, or go home". Most of us think of space in the 2D plane, and use it as such. If that's the case, 8 5' tall plants in a 4x4x8 will out produce 18 1' plants in a 4x4x8. To be comparable, you'd need 40 1' plants, or 20 2' plants... you get the idea? Two feet, squared isn't a whole lotta space for a large plant, but I'm just trying to prove a point. Basically what I'm getting at is that most growers don't use their verticle space as much with smaller plants. So in my mind, it's wasted space.

It's not an exact science, but I also feel all them little plants are just more work. Fewer, large plants will give you a high yeild. Small plants have the advantage of being able to fill evey stage of SOG faster. You CAN SOG with large plants, but it just takes longer to get every stage set. I hope I'm making sense here and don't come off as rambling.

I've convinced myself that growing big works best for me. Maybe small plants are you're thing and you can pump them mugs to produce. Idk; it's up to you.

Ooh yeah... and of course I'm looking at this from my point of view cause I have verticle space available. Some don't so growing big isn't even an option. (I'm guessing you do since you're asking.)
