Wow! Thanks man. That must have been quite the read.
I'm getting ready to post an 84x vs. 550 v2 Rspec w/UVA grow in the next few days.
Cant wait for that, only reason I was watching hybrids was to see how the 84s flowered, we all know veg can be done under many lights but I want to see how they flower out. I'm still using 6xHLG 288s v2 3000k with blue and red supplemental bars I built with rapid LED starboards and my plants are vegging so nicely right now with the additional blue I'm loving it.

I see you scraped your rdwc and repurposed it, were you using a chiller by any chance with the rdwc?

Scratch that I just read back and you listed your water temps at 65 so you must have been using a chiller. Why do you think you kept getting rot did you ever figure that out?
It was winter, and I regulated cold outside air to keep the water cool.
I have a theory about that hydro system. I don't think there was anything wrong with it. I had just started using dyna-zyme in it around that time. I don't recommend it in hydro at all. The dead matter and the enzymes themselves all die, turn brown, and look exactly like root rot. I even tried sterile rez with chlorine, but on the same plants. I think I was prejudging the root rot on the roots before I saw it on the plant. I kept scrapping grows because I didn't want to have a problem in flower, so kept trying to solve it in veg.
I got tired of chasing it, and after that many grows without a harvest I pulled the whole system in one night. About a month ago I was thinking about it, and that is how I came up with the zyme theory, lol.

Ya that sounds right I've used hydro guard before and it gave me more problems than anything else, granted I'm not using a chiller for my rdwc so I just run sterile now with ~3ppm of pool shock every week. Water temps are 76 and growth is explosive, ya it's a little scary having warm water temps but plants are loving it and havent had problems yet..

Bp have you got a you tube channel? I saw Dawgo the hut has a good channel but all your videos are better. Not to distract from forum activity just a place to showcase your production skill.
Thanks man.
I do. LINK You can click my avatar in any of my videos and it will take you there, also. A lot of stuff I post though is link access only. So some of stuff I post for you guys isn't on there to see, without the link. I've got 7 subscribers! Finally hit the big time.
I didn't know Dawg had a channel or did YT. I'll have to check it out.

Day 44
I'm not very happy with this grow. I did find a great keeper of each strain. My organic soil fell flat on it's face, and I had to supplement with Dyna-Gro. It was a nightmare chasing deficiencies in a soil like that, especially in a grow competition. Probably going to keep doing the soil stuff on indoor veggies until I get more experience with it. Going back to Coco and Dyna-Gro after this.
These are mainly pics of the Nilla Wafer #1 in the back left. Front right is a Scar Jo that absolutely reeks of a berry sugar candy, so keeping that one, too. The top pics are what it looks like to me, the bottom pics are what it looks like to the camera.

Getting set up for the HGL/HLG comparison.

I have one time lapse in the 12/12 tent, and one in this tent. HGL sent me both, so I am using them on their grows. I will still do updates on both like normal.

Awesome bro just Awesome
Thanks for checking it out bro. True Living Organics is a great read in there. A shitload of great reads in there. Someone could literally not know a fucking thing about growing, read that link and walk out the door with a Cannabis Cup.
