Perlite Medium

what up again? i watched this hydroponic tape i got from the library and they had what looked like aquarium gravel. then it me, is it possible to use perlite as a sole medium in a hydroponic grow? why and why not? and how would a mix of perlite african violet and sand in a fill n drain getting fed twice a day do? expert and all advice is welcomed, let me know.

the "hempy bucket" approach uses 100% perlite. Do a google search, it's a great read and folks using this approach seem to get great yields.

fill and drain might be tough cus the stuff floats and would come out of the pot. Top watering/drip would probably work better for ya.

im glad u ask that and i will be honored to answer...it came from a movie called Paper Soldiers starring kevin hart beanie siegel and stacy dash, theres a scene where nore was cutting dude hair and was giving him a hard time bout when they was locked up together and he {nore} was saying "...up north u was like cookies and bones, cookies and bones. all day..." i dunno its 1 of my smokin movies that i keep handi and that part has always stuck out, n only a few ever ask, talkinbout?
