Here we go again. I might have to flip her tomorrow to 12/12. I do have a question though. One of the leaves looks like it was burnt but the lights were no where near her. Need a little help there. Also how does she look? Thanks for looking.

Whats temps like with lights off? Looks like maybe a little P deficiency,it will hit the older fans first. Some red stems can be seen too. Overall plant looks good...hows your EC?

Hey @Resinhound I'm using gh performance pack nutes. What can I do to remedy the problem? By the way thanks for the help, you've been great seeing as how you're the only one following :-D

Im using a very similar nutrient program right now.Whats your base water ppm or are you using ro?

And are you using the gh grow? Depending on what you are using for water ( ec) heres what I think you should do.

Make a solution of 1/2 gall or 1.9 liters and add 2ml of flora micro and 4ml of flora bloom. If you are using r/o or low ec tap this should come out to ~1.1 ec.Ph that to 6.2 and feed.

This is a low strength lucas formula,it contains everything you will need at this point. However im finding sometimes Its nessesary to raise Ph a bit to hit some nutrient sweet spots. So start Ph to 6.2 this should increase P uptake and hopefully stop this problem now before it progresses. Also you should be able to maintain that 1:2 ratio of micro/bloom until harvest just raise Ppms as needed. If you like,a small amount of koolbloom added to that .2ec worth or so,can be added to this profile for bulking in flower after stretch stops.

Will do. I was thinking about using the lucas formula but since this is my first grow I was just going to follow the box. Also one more question. I have roughly $100 - $125 to spend on lighting and was looking at the Mars300 what do you think? I have 4 cfls plus an led a friend gave me. I had 6cfls but it was to hot. What would you do?

I think it will grow bud for you,Ive never used that brand but I have used other epistar type leds and wasnt really pleased with them. But it will grow for you, just be aware those things are really only like 180w and based on the efficiency of those diodes you are only getting about 60-70 par watts your plants can use.So basically if you can look at it as a 60watt light. That means its creating 110watts of heat you have to deal with for 60watts of plant usuable light.Good diodes ofc are more expensive but will give you more usuable light for you heat.

Personally id rather use t-5 ho with split spectrum bulbs than another one of those cheap leds, but thats just my take on it man.

Ya just stay with the 1:2 ratio of micro/bloom and go easy on the supplements, some of those add alot of ppm for little benefit.A little koolbloom after stretch and maybe some floralicious plus in the last few weeks is really all you need.Try to vary your ph that you feed at too 5.8-6.2 mix it up in that range.

Great will do on the nutes and thanks for the heads up on the light. I'll be looking into a t5 ho, any recommendations?
Heh I have a badboy t5 6bulb that I love but any old t5ho fixture will work 6 bulb if you can fit it.Get some 3000k and 5000k bulbs to toss is there...and youre good you can run those right down close to the plants.I think youll be happier with those than with a mars. Those t5 fixtures are pretty affordable, bulbs are about $10 each and last ~20000 hrs.Id still be growing with mine if I didnt just get bored with em lol.I saw an angled 8 bulb unit the other day that would actually fit in my space and it made me consider it.HO t-5 can grow some seriously potent buds man dont discount em.

Well the weekend is over flipped "her" (fingers crossed) to 12/12 and as I sit here (my day off) and plan a trip to Colorado I have taken the advise of my only buddy here @Resinhound and switched to the recommended lucas formula. I swung the Ph up to 6.2 again per recommendation forgot to get ppm:wall: but we shall see. Question: should I start getting rid of some lower growth since I'm in 12/12? Here's some pictures for you guys and gals.

Edit: I will be switching to a 2ft 4 bulb t5ho as I have heat issues and this fixture will fit perfectly over my 2ft x 18inch net about 3 inches away.

Here's an update for you guys and gals. The only changes made were flipped to 12/12 on Monday, fed her the lucas formula the same day (1/2 a gallon), trimmed some lower growth (scared and didn't take too much), and did my last tuck yesterday. I will be getting my t5 tomorrow. All in all I'm amazed and happy I got her this far. Thanks for looking.
