People who call themselves "hunters"

The way this study was done makes it useless. There is no way to know if meat was the cause.
Not at all, higher meat consumption directly correlated with increased risk of disease and death. Two separate studies found the same results, one with 120,000 people and the other 73,000.

Yeah and this society (America) is #1 in healthcare spending but DEAD LAST in life expectancy. And outdated studies? That vegetarian study proving red meat reduces lifespan and increases risk of disease was in 2013.
Already posted two links. Where are you getting your info? "Among the 17 countries examined, in 2007 the US ranked last in life expectancy for males (75.64 years) and second to last for females (80.78 years). The disparity was the greatest for females, with a woman born in the US in 2007 expected to live more than five years less than a woman in Japan, where the highest life expectancy was 85.98 years. Male life expectancy in Switzerland, 79.33, was 3.69 years higher than that for US males". Last for males and second last for females.
Mortality rate, not life expectancy. Stick to one thing at a time man.

Read that paragraph again. "Among the 17 countries examined, in 2007 the US ranked last in life expectancy for males (75.64 years) and second to last for females (80.78 years). By the way, I don't have an agenda. I was not raised vegan or vegetarian and I only know one other vegan. I made the decision to go vegan based on becoming more educated about nutrition and health in general. I also care about the life of other creatures... such a biased agenda!
That is still steaming from where the pony plopped it.
MY researches into human physiology and nutrition are steadily pushing me to a meat-richer diet. I have to deprogram myself from my love of carbs.
(To the non-militant vegans and vegetarians, sincere apologies.)

I wrote entire paragraphs, some scientific and some philosophical, then found out it took to long for me to write all of it down and the site timed out on me...now I have to wait for my next set of epiphanies which should come to fruition in the next 6-7 mths, roughly the same time it takes to grow a sustainable crop.
