They can cool a can of beer or Coke fine, but 4+ gallons I'm guessing limited effect. In the youtube comments you see he says it worked inside on 15 gal res but couldn't keep up outside, but who knows what his temp conditions are like inside... I'm guessing you will need multiple of them to get the job done.

if its any constellation my res is insulated. Two wouldn't be so bad. My chiller rarely turns on in the other tent because of the insulation and the tent is 83 inside. res is @ 66. It seems once its at that temp it is easy to maintain. I am waiting on his reply. He seems to help others along when they need it. I wanted to see if anyone else here is currently using one. It would be nice if I could use one chiller for two reservoirs but I am running different ppms

You can run the output water through a silicone tube in the other res, should work similar to a copper coil without interacting with the nutes.

I have one chiller that cools everything. EVERYTHING; RDWC water, air, dehuey. It's on its own closed circuit so it cools everything without mixing with any nutrient water. I use 15' x 3/8" HVAC copper tubing as the heat exchanger coil in my RDWC.

I use radiators from mid 80s Volvos as air handler cores, I use an upgraded round fan to blow growroom air through it. The water passing through it keeps the radiator cold enough so it sweats excess moisture, thus doing the job of dehuey simultaneously. This condensate goes directly back into the RDWC.

I have a chiller that cools this water circuit, and a compressorless chiller that uses outside air to chill the water when it's cold enough out.

All winter, my chiller sits inside so the heat it extracts warms my home. I haven't run my furnace in four winters now, seriously.

AC is for amateurs!

Thats awesome. Do you have a pic or a diagram? my chiller is good to 100 gallons. my res is 25 each so 50 gallon total. Will it keep it @ 66? I dont use heat either. I vent indoors and have a y connector on 6 " duct with valve made from piece of sheet metal. When it gets too hot i just switch it to vent outside. Why waste the heat ;-)

I got a 2 Ton chiller, aka 2kW. This has the needed capacity. Again, I'm chilling everything, not just my RDWC res.

I've done some other interesting things, too- you should check out 'Ttystikk's Vertical Goodness' in the vert section.
