Hi everybody

I promise there will be a journal.. I have a newb question:

I'm starting from seeds so I will be putting them in mini peat pellets to start them off.. (after germinating in paper towels) Whats the best medium to use in DIY and how do I transplant from the peat pellets to this medium??
Roseman if you read this can you please tell me what you use?? and how do you actually transplant your babies??

Thanks in advance in advance guys.. ANy input will be very appreciated..

HAppy growing :weed:

I also had the idea of putting the peat pellets inside the netpots and surround them with hydroton.. but I have no Idea if this is the correct way..
Please can somebody help me?? is this like really that hard to find information on ?

Personally, I would start with a larger peat pot. If you use the small pellets you'll have to transplant them asap as the roots will quickly start growing through the netting. If you use a larger peat pot like these 5 inchers then you can wait much longer before transplanting. http://www.seedandgarden.com/shop/products/Jiffy-Peat-Pots-5-Inch-Round-8-Pack.html

Thanks bro for the reply... I have one of those boxes with 20 mini peat pellets to start the seeds.. I used it already once it was great!! but I was growing in earth so it was easy I just burried it lol

this time i'm doing bubbles... so I just wonder guys if its okay for me to take the rooted peat pellets and surround them with hydroton in the net pots??
Plz any advice would be appreciated because I'm scared I will screw up ..:wall:

wow ...
I really did not expect this to be so hard.. i got all the info i need except this simple medium thing... which does not apear that simple for me now..
