I think this acquisition is proof the LPs see extracts coming via the Smith case. Further proof will be when the case isnt appealed by the gov't.
I dont plan on donating any money for this case as its all just a formality both sides want the same result imvho.
So why does HC bother with this farce?....to save face?

let's say there are 1,000,000 cannabis consumers in Canada, each consuming 1 lb bud/year.. in field production let's say it takes 43.56 sq. ft to produce 1 lb bud, and there are 43,560 sq. ft per acre, means 1 acre can theoretically produce 1000 lbs.. 1 million divided by 1000 = 1000 acres

I think your numbers are low...1 acre, 1 ton..2000lbs...but what are we talking about here?

I also think there's alot more 1 million pot smokers in Canada...more like 10 million

10 million who consume 1 lb/yr I think not.. I'd guess most are prob the once in a blue moon types..

Flower probably 3-5 g/day, bit more on weekends or if my pain/spasms are particularly bad. I prefer water extraction or dry sift hash though.

Also there's over a million medical users in Canada, let alone full/part time rec users. Canadians love cannabis, always have and always will. If you go by the numbers from legal med/rec states and apply them to Canada it should be like 10-14% population, something like 4+ million people (rough math/estimates).
