Pc grow box week 2 i need advise and help from experienced bubbleponicers

So i set up my pc grow box. 1st i lined the inside with reflecting mylar tape that has an adhesive on the back to create a super bond with the base and withstand up to 210 f. There are 2 26 6500k bulbs in there at the moment and i will be adding 1 more of those and/or a 42 watt 6500k. I got the flexi airstone in my container with a 2 plant capacity lid. I am using washed hydroton as my medium. Right now i have a tomato plant growing in there idk if it's doing fine or not it looks like it but it's not growing a lot like people say bubbleponic grows (about an inch a day i've read). There is water in the container up to the bottom the the net pot touching the bottom of the root riot to keep it moist should i drop it lower?

I germinated 3 seed i found in some fire bud in my city a.k.a. Jager, i used the wet towel and ziploc bag method. I waited a week and only one seed sproud at least an inch root. I said fuck it ima plant all 3 just incase they decide to come back wich i had not much hope for tho. I let my root riot sit in half a liter of water mixed with 1.5 ml of thrive alive b-1 for 3 hrs. Then i squeezed some of the water to where the root riot was very moist. I planted the rooted seed about 1/2 an inch deep and the other seeds about 1/4 an inch deep. I let them sit on the window sill since then and there are some pics posted up of what they look like so far. I watered them once when they got dry a day after they were planted they're 3 days old now. I need all the help everyone on here is willing to provide that will be constructive. No negativity please.

I am a soil guy so I am not gonna try to advise on something I have no knowledge of. I just wanted to say good luck on the grow. Looks like a very nice build job on the PC box.

Damn lol .... Well all support and viewers are welcome. Thanks on the pc box i built it in 2 days and is pretty stealthy i just need to set the screen next to it although its next to a printer but who uses a tower and a printer only? Lol what do you know about the lighting?

Well, I think you would be hard pressed to try and get more in there. But as far as type of light cfl in the 6400k range for veg and 2700k range for flowering. But in a pc case you will likely want to do auto-strain grows so 2700k should do. Actually one of each may be the way to go. Hope that helps!

I can fit 4 in there good and have 2 plants in there and do lst when the time comes. But yea the 2 in there right now are 26 w 6500 k a 42 watt 6500 k is on its way and will be in there asap. And i might add another 26 w 6500 k. I just want to be successful and then invest some more ina bigger area.

I would like a lot of peoples thoughts and experiences like i've seen others get on here lol. I guess just like growing patients is a virtue.

Hahaha very funny dude question about seedlings how often should i warter them once they sproutedd???? Once dry water completley or wut?

When the pot feels light add some water. For the first couple of waterings I just add about a shot glass full right around the the stem. They don't need much water at that stage and when the medium gets dry the roots will grow out in search of moisture.

ok well i have em in root riot idk if you've experienced them b4? i did just that though about a shot of water with thrive alive b1 in there for the root growth. when is letting them dry too much? i know you haven't used bubbleponics but once it goes in the system the medium only dries out at the very top and the bottom maintains wet. i guess ima have to take em out of the system once or so a week to dry out then put em back in huh? idk lol wish more ppl came across my forum

I started my seed using a peat moss pellet. I kept that on a plate that always had water in it. I would put water on the plate about twice a day. That way the peat moss with my germinated seed planted in it just absorbed the water as it needed it. Only maintenance was keeping water on the plate. Then i waited until the plant was 2-3 weeks old or when i could see roots poking out. That's when the plant went into my bubbleponics setup. And i didn't use any of the extra stuff you are, just purified well ph'd water. Hope this helps. And heres a few pics of my plant, this was my first time doing bubbleponics and i love it. Way easier than soil, but thats only my opinion.

looks like you had too much nutes in tho???? or something else burned ur tips ...... hmmm well thanks for letting me know you took 3 weeks or so to get the seedling in the system .... i'll wait too then till it has root popping out of the root riot and keep watering it with water and the thrive alive just cuz i mixed it already in a half gallon and don't wanna put it to waist ...... what did you use for ur lighting ??? and what am i using that u didn't cuz looks like you got everything i do lol .... cept the thrive alive ........

I didn't use the root riot or thrive alive. I think this plant had nute lock due to the PH being off. Thats why all the brown spots. I thought nute burn at first as well. Then i checked PH and it was way high which made sense because i wasn't even giving the plant full strength nutes and i had know problems prior using the exact same feeding schedule. Now that they are so close to harvest I am not giving them food anymore. My lights are just 3 6500 lumen cfl and one 2700 lumen.

well the root riot is to start basically like my rockwool so my seedling was above the soil 4 two days with the seed on top of it so i took it off cuz it looks like it wasn't gonna come off then there was this like web holding the leaves together so i left it like that and then finally i was like it needs help so i gently pulled off the little web and it spread it's 4 leaves out :) i was like wtf this shit was growin in there already hahahahah now i'm excited that my 1st grow is taking off out of 3 seed 2 have germinated one has really taken off one is trying to come out of the ground still but it's coming ...... as soon as i get roots on them i'ma throw em into my pc box with the hydro system and take out the tomatoes i go going in there and see if i can plant em outside or somewhere else in soil indoors ... they were just to test my pc box and now that i see it works i will go on with my ladies in there=

I tied it down once the plant got too close to the lights. She was already about 4-6 weeks into flowering when i tied it down. I have tried tying the plant down early on and that was a pain because so many off shoots sprouted it became a pain in the ass. This works best with the lst rack. Growing for quality and not quantity is the best way to go in my opinion.
