Day 2

I was a tad bit worried, that when I wake up in the morning and go to inspect the plant, there would be something wrong eg. it would have withered and "fallen over". Thankfully nothing bad has happened, on the contrary, my girl has started to show a bit of green. The shell looks like it's going to come off tomorrow. Here are some pics. I stuck a paper towel into a dish full of water yesterday, and the humidity has gone up, co I'm pleased wih that.

I also misted the soil before going to bed.WP_20150520_09_58_09_Pro.jpg WP_20150520_09_58_03_Pro.jpg

Have a good day peeps.

P.S. I also just found out how to add "full" sized images to my posts.. <facepalm>

That was a really good read, thank you so much for looking for this articale and showing it to me. Damn, definitely helped me a lot! :bigjoint:

Problem is, because the holidays are coming up, I'm going to be out of my house (unfortunately) for a week. When I come back, I've only got a two days rest period and during that time I'll be busy with my MJ. Then I'm going to see my Dad for two bloody weeks. This is the worst possible time I chose grow MJ. I can only ask my friend to water the plant every now and then, but apart from that I won't be getting any other help from him... so I think this time I'll just be doing the simple tie down method. I've heard you can get amazing results with this method as well, and when I get back from my Dads Im thinking of building another pc case to test the Scrog method. I'll compare the two methods after.

Sorry for being absent, I'll upload a few pics now.

Day 4 of the growth. Nothing much to say, she's growing nicely. I think and hope everything is on schedule and nothings lagging behind.

Well apart from the bloody moisture... I can honestly say I'm happy when I see the 30%. I've tried putting wet paper towels in, lowering the fans speed, small bowls full of water plus pebbles and I even bought a miniature humidifier that attaches itself onto a bottle... still nothing. Oh well, I'll just wait until my girl grows up and starts transpirating at a higher rate.

I wouldn't worry too much about the low humidity. I've had seedlings run at 30-40% RH and they grow fine. It'll be very helpful anyway once you start flowering to prevent mold/mildew. Plants are looking good! I'm sure them roots are getting settled in.

You're right kimoolos, but you know how it is. As a "parent" I want to create the best possible enviroment for my MJ. :D But thanks, she is growing very nicely, everything is on schedule so I'm pleased.

Maybe in a weeks time she'll be ready to get transplanted to her final destination. Pics coming soon.

So I woke up in the morning and first thing I did was check my plants (favourite time of the day)... but as I inspected the plant I noticed that the second set of leaves (microscopic in size) are... brown. I really don't know what this could be. I'll have to have agndr at what the problems could be. I hope ou guys can see my problem from the pics, I admit they are not that sharp.

I water her every two days or so, could it be that? But I haven't heard that underatering causes browning of the leaves. And only the newest pair have been affected.

Have a great day guys!WP_20150524_10_55_59_Pro.jpgWP_20150524_10_56_24_Pro.jpg

I hope so eatspam. :D But then again it could be the genetics that the Blue Mystics have in them. After some time the leaves get a brownish/purple discolouration, but I don't know if this happens at such a early age. Oh well, I'll just be monitoring her.

And I also went out and got myself a 25W 2700K cfl. I heard that autoflowers love mixed spectrums. I had to do a bit of tweaking and used a wire to "hang" them bulb from the top. A little shabby, but there is nothing I can do now. :D So that's a wopping 5680 lumens in total.

Nice PC grow box radisues. My blue mystics are growing in "space buckets". Two of my three seem to be struggling a tad, interestingly in different ways. But the one pictured below seems to be doing great. Today marks day 35. Flowering for me started around day 21-25. As such, I did not do any LST. You really don't need to with this strain. It will generate plenty of bud sites on its own and doesn't get to be more than 2 feet tall by the time it flowers. I'm hoping I can have some success here since it's my first grow. Good luck!

Hey guys.
So sorry for not giving any signs of life. I've gone on a miniature holiday and I'll be back in two days and I can't wait to see my girl. :D Apparently she is growing very nicely. She'll be ready to transplant when I get back. So pics will be up soon.

See ya. :D
