I guessed on the lumens; i know i should be getting soft white light (orange one:)).

Im gonna pick them up next week maybe even add them in there before i start the 12/12.

Here are some pics. The haze is super bushy.. kinda too bushy for my liking.
I assume its a good thing. I am thinking i should try and 'spread' out those branches to let the light penetrate the main stalk; i love how thick it is getting

My blue sat has some decent spacing and those inner nodes will get some good light.

here are some pics

I plan on watering tomorrow or day after.

Before you think about flipping the lights to 12/12 I'd seriously consider transplanting each to their own pot. 2 plants in the same container isn't going to cut it...1/2 the space and twice the roots does not make for happy plants IMO.

I wanted to initially keep two different pots but the space just didnt allow big enough pots to support a plant :| at least i didnt think.

I was planning on keeping the two plants in the same plant and try (and hope) the roots grow towards the middle; watering through the middle of the pot.

The only think i think i can use is a 2L pop bottle or a rubbermaid tupperware container; Do u think any of these would be better for this PC grow?

Tupperware works well enough in a PC grow. That's what I used and it worked out great. Don't forget to drill holes for drainage and if its clear plastic I would tape up or paint the exterior to block the light out.

Honestly in a PC grow you're only gonna have room to flower one plant realistically.

Update: I havent transplanted them yet not sure if im going to. Next time im at the store ill take a look at the tupperware. The ones i have arent as big and im not sure when i do the transplant if the root system will be too big for the tupperware.

If they are too big should that be fine? Remember im not going for height.

I picked up the GH Flora series but i didnt get the micro. I totally didnt read the labels properly and didnt see that the micro is basically the base of the 3-part nutrient system.

So i decided just to do another water with just grozyme and water to top it off.

In a few days when they need water again i will snap some pics and feed them a 1/4 strength nute solution;

i think im LSTing properly; they are def at a horizontal angle but it just reaches for the light.

Hey RIU,

Here is quick update.

I watered them babes today with the 3-part GH Flora series.

I took a 4L jug of water - i had tap water in the milk jug sitting for a few days with the cap on --- im not sure if this is the proper way to distill the water.
Then i used 1 mL of each - according to the chart this is a full strength for mild veg - then i took another container and filled it with 3/4 regular water and put in the mix in that to get hopefully a 1/4 strength solution.

Hopefully they take up the nutes with no issues.

Am i suppose to water with regular water next time around?

Im not sure when i can start flowering. The Blue Sat is still smaller but it appears to be getting some good growth.

Ill try watering with the Nutes for a session or two.

Here are some pictures.

Look how bushy the Haze is. Im not sure how i am going to manage LST and spreading out the branches.

Any comments on how they look would be appreciated:).

It depends on your plant or what you want. Some people just use weak mixes, and gently ramp up the strength over time...I've read some that do something like a feed, feed, plain cycle. Maybe someone with more soil experience can say more about that...

You can start the flower process whenever you want really. Keep in mind that usually whatever height your plant is when you flip the lights, it will double in size during flowering. So use that as your guide for when to start the process.

IMO you really need to get them in seperate pots or pick one to flower, cause you're limited in space with a PC case. 1 plant is plenty for that sized space.

Then again 2 plants in that pot might be only grow small enough to make it work in that case...but I'd rather have 1 big healthy plant rather than 2 smaller plants. That's just my 2 cents though.

LST will be easy, and is really the only way to do it in a PC case. Train her horizontally and you'll end up with a nice plant in a PC case.

Having done this before in a PC case and looking at the size they are now. I would start flowering, simply because of how much bigger they do get during flowering. Take into account how much time you have veg'd them now consider another 60+ days of growth. Its easy to see how space becomes an issue. Again don't take my word for it, have a look at my last grow.

Thanks for the suggestions.

im gonna hit up the depot to pick up some 2500k lights. Maybe double up with the lights I already have.

I do have a bit of 'extra' room with the books on the bottom. Gonna water one more time then flip.

I want to get a tent or build something for next time then get clones etc because starting from seed does take a while.

I have read about the sativa stretch and if need be ill get a tote and make a impromptu box :P

Ive finally started the 12/12:) and just a day after i came home to such a wonderful smell. Nothing to overpowering but i knew they were in there. Nice earthy spicy aroma.

If 24 hours is a good indication if they liked the GH Flora series they are doing very well. still.

I fed them again but i up'd the strength to about 1/2 ; used the same bottle and added more 100% and diluted it to 50%.

Once the rest of the 4L mixture is finished im going to transition to the transition to bloom strength then full strength after that jug is done.

Here are some pictures :) I think i may even see some pre-flowers. It is prob way too soon to see them - it was one day after the switch. Anyone want to shed some light on the hairs?:)

I got 23w 1600K Softwhite Lightbulb - it may be early but the 3 1600K softwhite lights should be good enough right? I even added a 16w Daylight mini twister in there.

Hey All

** 8 Days since the flip to 12/12

Quick update. Just watered with regular water; i think that's what im suppose to do.

recap last 2 waters were 1/4 and 1/2 strength GH Flora nutes.

So today I did regular tap water that has been hanging in a jug for a day or two. But this update is to see if i have a potential male :( i sure hope not!.

the top cola? (top of the plant) was squished against the side of the box. I see some bulbs but im not sure if those are just extra flowers/leaf/

I wish i would have known that the haze would have been so bushy. Next one I will let it grow semi regularly. The blue Sat. seems like it would be perfect for a small space.

any advice on what the 'balls' that would be good. Im going to the bitter end on this. I would just want to take them off rather than go all willy-nilly in there

Hey man, subbed to your thread. Seems like you're doing almost exactly what I'm thinking about attempting. Sorry I'm not posting any help on sexing your plants. But fingers crossed you haven't got a dude in there. Just wanted to say it's been a damn good read this morning, and a real eye-opener, really didn't think you could get that bushy a grow off 3cfl in such a tiny case. You've given me hope! Any chance you could let us know your full box dimensions, I think I saw you say it was 16" high, which is about the same as mine.

Good luck with things man, I'll keep a good eye on this thread. x

Thx for the sub.

I think the geneics are busy I googled. Atomic haze and that's what someone mentiond. -bushy with a decent yield.

More space would be good. 18-20in case would do wonders. I was thinking I would make another case but join them together.

Like an accordian box.

Dimentions of the box is
17x19x8 in

The flowers seem to be growing at a decent pace; decent enough for me.

But i may have an issue; im not sure if these are normal or the pollen sacs.. I sure hope its normal!

If this is a male ill try and rip them out.

Please help
