Hi there, so I'm starting this journal of a grow I have going. The environment is as follows:

Light: 92W total = 4x23W 2700k
Pots: 1.5L Biobizz All-Mix
Nutes: Biobizz grow and bloom
Box size: h41-w42-d20 cm ( in inch h16-w16-d8 )
Method: 12/12 From Seed

NOTE: I count the days from the day I sow the seeds, it makes it easier for me to keep track of them and it seems more fair and accurate as well :)

White Widow: She is 37 days old, showed preflowers at 27 days and at 30 days of age she was 13 cm tall. I'm LST'ing her and so far so good.

White Russian: She is 7 days old, 5cm tall (WW was 4.5cm at her age). Haven't decided yet if I'll LST or FIM her... we'll see, any suggestions?

My Goal: Right now I've got two, one is to get rid of powdery mildew and the other one is to yield 10g per plant.

Here are a couple of pics of the girls:

Here we are with some new pictures and information about the girls, hope you like it ;)

White Widow: As you can see the lst is going good so far :) the root systems is not awesome but it's good as well. One thing is that the leaves are yellowing quite fast (I think). And there is a problem as well and is that it's getting powdery mildew which is not happening with the papaya plant in the other box. I think it can be because of three reasons:
1.- she's quite compact with many leaves and this obstructs ventilation and creates shadowed areas
2.- the fan to move the air doesn't move enough air
3.- the genetics, the plant is weak (the seed wasn't looking really good)

I won't be able to tell what is the problem untill I grow more plants and see the results so right now I'm thinking about buying some sulfur to see if it works. I'm using neem oil right now but it doesn't seem to kill this damn powder.

Oh! and one more thing, looking at the size she has with the LST, which is only 11cm (main stem is 21 cm long) I could actually use taller pots as well coz right now I have some stuff under the pot to put it closet to the light, so I guess I could be using a 2 or 3 litre pot instead of the 1.5L pot I'm using right now.

White Russian: She is doing great, is 6 cm tall which is good, I can already see some roots in the bottom of the pot so that's also good, and the growth is a little slower than the ak47 but it's fine :) Still don't know if I should FIM, LST.......

Just wanted to let you know that I've got Antracol and used it on the WW (to get rid of powdery mildew), now lets see if it makes any effect in the following days. I'll give her another dose of it in 7-10 days.

that yellowing is due to nitrogen, or a lack of i should say, doesn't seem too serious as its only effecting older leaves, however you should consider adding more nitrogen...

you absolutely need to make your pots opaque, light getting to roots causes all sorts of bad things, if you don't want to buy a new pot then you should consider taping it up with duct tape or something

Hi there mosh, thanks for your help, +rep for you ;)

About the yellowing that's what I was thinking, that it could be nitrogen so last watering I increase the nutes to 2ml x 1L of biogrow and 2ml x 1L of biobloom. I guess I didn't give them enough, I've never used nutes so I'm trying to give it to them without burning them. I'm thinking that a better quantity may be 2ml x 1L grow and 1ml x 1L bloom the first couple of times and after switch to 2ml x 1L of bloom and 1ml x 1L of grow.

Also I'm not sure if I should continue with 2ml of grow coz the plant has been flowering for a month already so maybe is better to start using 1ml of grow and 1ml of bloom ?

About the pots, you'r totally right. Before I had just a newspaper protecting the roots and it was probably not enough but now I've got newspaper and panda film around the pot to protect it, so I think that muse be working great right ? I just remove it to take the pictures ;)

I haven't got any better picture with me right now but this is how the pots look with the film:

So here are a couple of pics of the girls:

White Russian:
I think i'll top/fim but still not sure about it, any suggestions about this ?

White Widow:
The white thing on the leaves is the product I'm using to get rid of the powdery mildew but I think it doesn't work and now it's even more difficult to spot the PM.

So here we are again, girls are getting big :) The main problem with this grow is still the powdery mildew, the stuff I tried last time was not worthy so I didn't use it again. As White Russian was starting to show some PM as well, I decided to improve the air circulation and I also gave them some neem oil yesterday. Also made a light trap coz I removed the intake fan to put in inside. I hope this will help with the PM, we'll see in the next 5-7 days.

White Widow: 60 days old.
Apart from the PM she also has some weird colours on the leaves, kind of red, not sure if that's because of the product I used. Will keep an eye so it doesn't get worse.

White Russian: 30 days old.
She is doing fine, as you can see I decided to LST her. I actually don't have much space in the box, but so far they are doing fine. Starting to get some yellowing in the leaves. I already changed the dose of nutes to 3ml bio-bloom and only 1ml bio-grow so I guess that the reason.

WR0130-06122010566.jpgWR0130-06122010567.jpg

Hey Clou9! the smell is delicious!! and I'd also say fruity, I'll try to get somebody else to smell it and see what they say :) man, it would be awesome it she kept this smell when dry.

And talking about smells, does anybody know if there is a way to make some kind of incense or cologne with mj buds ? coz I've got some I'm gonna throw away and I was wondering if it was possible to make something like that, just to use it at home :D

hey man you're doing well, the white widow is getting there eh? so its 60 days from seed?

also in response to your earlier comment, thanks for the rep, the panda film looks great, about your nutes though, you dont need to use any grow nutes during flower unless you bloom nutes are not high enough in values, whats the npk value on your bloom?

Hey mosh :) Yes, 60 days from seed. I count as day 1 the day I put the seed in the ground, this makes it easier for me to keep track of them as I always take pictures and measure them every 15 days. I guess she'll be ready in about 30 days, can't wait to see the results of the improvements from the last grow :)

About the nutes, they do recommend to use both together and I'm doing so because the plants get yellow and loose the leaves really fast. I think it may be because the soil has almost no nutes and the pots are quite small. Anyway, here are the values:

Bio-Grow: 8-2-6
Bio-Bloom: 2-6-3.5

Just check biobizz website and saw this:
Bio-Grow can be used late in flowering as a plant tonic.

Do you think it could be bad to keep the dosage at 3ml bloom and 1ml grow ?

It'll be fun to harvest at the same time and the same strain hehe. Any bets for which will finish first ? lol BTW, do you know how many litres is the pot you are using ?
