Pay me for giving you CG rights

I don't see this as being an even tradeoff... I am a patient and dispensaries and other people want to give me "deals" for making them my CG. This means the CG can posses and grow what I can posess and grow how is this worth $5-$10 discounts when buying regularly. Doesn't it seem like the patients should get a great deal, like a free OZ a month or some shit...:-P

you are not taking the time to grow these girls . Your CG is covering the expense of the grow and doing a lot of work . You are always welcome to try and grow your own plants .

Pre HB10-1284 there used to be quite a few free deals kicking around. If you found a great caregiver, an ounce a month was pretty easy.

Now, since caregivers can only grow for 5 patients they need to get paid to cover expenses. They can't sell the overgrow into the dispensaries to cover your expenses. Dispensaries are pretty tight now too, but if you look around you can find one that gives you free monthly meds. There aren't many, but there are a couple.

I just read about a dispensary owner selling his 60% share in a Southern Colorado Springs MMC today on Craigslist. Seems it is getting tougher now that HB1284 passed...and that is exactly what the state wanted. :(

Not everyone has the time, patience, budget, or knowledge to grow grade A meds, which is what some people require.

It's 'rampant', by the way.

I agree %100 on your statement. Your absolutely right... it should be like that. We don't need things getting out of control... which would more than likely make the government revert back to the original cannabis laws. Which in a nutshell.. what I'm trying to say is.. the government would get so many complaints and whatever... and before you know it.. we'd be back to square one with legalizing marijuana.

So, personally.. I totally agree with it.

Land of the unicorns! Wow! So people who can't afford to grow thier own or are unable to due to illness, where they live, fear of having thier children taken from them or any other circustance that could prevent someone from growing thier own. Every patient has the right to grow or not to grow, to spend 20 on a gram (beyond robbery imo) or go elsewhere. I have walked into and staight out of many MMC's, there are a lot of MMC's that are huge jokes and thier are some that stand above the rest. None the less we have the option now wich we really didnt have 3 years ago!

You want to tell this to my Father that is fighting cancer for the second time, as well as partial paralysis in his face and body, to grow his own? The ability to be able to go and buy herb from a dispensary without worry when you are in severe pain and haven't eaten for 3 days because you can't stop vomiting and need some freaking relief is very important!! Even if he physically could grow for himself, or had a caregiver doing it for him...sometimes crops fail!! What if the crop gets infected with mold at the end and he can't use it due to his extremely low immune-system? I don't think you realize that this would mean death. Honestly. The ability to drive to a dispensary and buy cannabis so that he will continue to eat is saving my fathers life. Please think a little before making such an ignorant statement.

Do you know that Jeanne Cobb and the city of denver want to ban caregiving totally? Have you contacted your elected officials and city council officials?

You're the type of patient I dropped when 1284 came about; act like you're doing the caregiver a favor by being a patient, expect free shit all the time and probably still bitch about every little thing.

Dispensaries have the space and money to grow some really big gardens, I agree there should be a lil something for the patients cg rights. I'm a CG and what I work out with my patients is " I'll grow 3 plants of theirs. Ill even help them grow their own 3 and supply any extra grow stuff I have at the time if they want to learn. Every 3-4 months they get the yield from one of the three I grow , ~2-3oz. If they are impatient and just want something every month I offer a 1/4 oz a month.. This protects me from the scammers who change caregivers every other week trying to get as many freebies as they can. Of course I still offer them deeply discounted herbs NEVER more than $30 1/8's and $220 OZ's. Every CG is different and has different quality/ price / terms. If your only looking at dispensaries to be your caregiver, your probably not going to get any real deals, you pay them to grow your herb then resell it to you at ridiculous prices..Try Clist. Be willing to make a drive, if your in the springs look for some mountain town caregivers, they have some amazing buds. Try boulder or denver too.
