Partially broken branches

Whats up everyone? I have a question concerning plant recovery and stress. I started topping for 4 tops a few grows ago. I then combined techniques. My goal is to start scrogging, but I have not taken the plunge yet. I grow in a 2x4x5 tent with a 250. Just got my ventilation upgraded to accommodate a 400. Tent is in a closet vented through ceiling and out the roof vents. Works like a charm. I have learned overtime how to maximize my production for my grow space size. I MUST do some kind of training. So Topping, bending, lst, supercropping, scrog are all options I must choose from. so far topping and 4 way LST have been my method of choice. With a 4 week veg cycle, I constantly pull at least 3 oz's per plant. But I know I can do better with patience and a longer veg time.

Now my problem. I topped my current kosher kush grow at 2 weeks, started lst at 3rd week. While bending my op branches on partially tore at the main stem. I eased up the pressure the branch and let it heal 3 days till I saw the wounded area thickening up. I have since continued to train the branches outward with the goal reaching the edge of the pot. Just flipped to 12/12 at 5 weeks. Plan on continue bending for the first 2 weeks, then I will let them do their thing. If done right I will have a nice even canopy with controlled stretch.

I have read that training will not stress a plant to herm. It's either genetically a herm or lighting issues that cause that problem. What do you guys think this?

Over a one rear period I have stressed out many plants. Only two have shown sign's of hermie. The first was a plant grown in temps ranging between 36-52 degrees and just a terrible environment. The second time just happened.

If you want to call it stress... LOL!!

I have been cloning this plant for almost a year and this is the first issue. As of now the wire is almost completely grown over and I got Nanner's on one flower.

I have broken many branches on other plants along the way and have just tied them back up with great results and no hermies. I am leaning towards a combination of issues causing hermie's.... But I don't know shit and am still learning. :peace:

^ I agree with the still learning. I have been growing on and off for 9 years. One thing I know for sure is no one knows everything about these amazing plants! Yeah I said it NO ONE!! And the arrogant ones who do, provide me with great entertainment while sitting on their elevated perch!! BUT I will say there are many out here who are extremely educated on the subject and I have the utmost respect for their experience and knowledge! Why else would I even post on here?
